Oh dear! Sorry to say, but this is badly done. In the 1st story, there's a bit in the middle which suddenly goes to smaller print - you can skip that bit as it more or less repeats itself when it goes back to the bigger print. Then, just when it's getting near to the part where you think that the jewellery theft is soon to occur, it cuts off. A couple of seconds later the 2nd story starts, although you don't realise it at first as there's no change in the voice. Because the voice didn't change, it took me a good few minutes to realise that the character is male. (But then, I'm on my first cup of tea of the day so maybe I just wasn't quite "with it"!😊)

Most times when I read comments about loud and distracting music, I wonder what they're talking about as I usually don't hear it - that is, until today! As I was going into a different room to where my laptop was playing, I put on headphones to continue to listen. OH MY GOODNESS!! Is that what people are hearing, and I apologise right now to those I silently criticised for being leaving such negative comments. And I 100% agree that not only is the "music" too loud and distracting, I don't think it can actually be called music, I'm sorry to say. On the plus side, at least there's not a face looking at us on the video!
The story is all over the place. How many toimes can someone leave the dinner and be back in a conversation again. Story teller should make an effort past outer space

Watching someone watching YOU is disturbing to say the least. And do you READ these things before you put them out for possible errors? Spelling, punctuation, grammar...the list goes on...THANK YOU for paying attention to this! The basic story is good, but the grammatical errors are tough to overlook when you READ these stories. I don't listen to them, I READ them as it's faster for me and the voices are oftentimes annoying. THANK YOU again for listening to my rant!
The use of multiple songs playing in the background is a real distraction from the story telling. I had to stop the video several times to see if a cell phone was ringing! To the creators, is that your plan? To distract us with maddening background noise? Because that is what is happening.
There's many ways of keeping the maternal sur name like hyphenated with the husband's surname, the husband and wife keep their family's surname or the husband adopts the wife's surname to name a few ways.
A sappy soliloquy of a heroic woman overcoming a toxic dinner? That's the only story presented. Never mentioned anything about the MIL, marriage or betrayal. Not even filler. Author gaslighting us with a narcissistic tale of her rise from the ashes . No accelerant.
The husband and now sperm donor isn't just immature because he's a real life Peter Pan who lacked a role model or parents that would teach him the whys and wherefore of being a grown up. Instead he looked at his time as a student at his father's Dojo as torture and his father as a big meanie who would try to teach him the basics of his father's discipline. As a person facing any decisions be they good, bad or indifferent he will always take the path of the least resistance where nothing is expected of him until it does. And when that happens he will quit and blame it on everything and everyone but himself until the pathways lead to nowhere and nothing. However that particular mindset and pathways can only lead to a life on the street because he will have burned every pathway, parental soft place and family structure down to the ground in his life while looking for a a way to live without being a responsible grown up person.
People please understand this e cigs are just as dangerous as tobacco cigarettes even more dangerous I used to be a heavy smoker and an alcoholic and now I stopped I'm not supposed to be here today only GOD saved me I never used the patch or gum my life has changed and I have GOD to thank for that and if you don't smoke or drink never do it ❤
Nicotine is poison. I remember that one of the insecticides that my father used had as its active ingredient, nicotine. One of the tricks that my brother used to control insects in his chicken coop was tying tobacco stalks to the roosting poles. I have heard of babies dying from swallowing cigarette butts. Also, I had a counselor from a drug rehab center tell me that it's easier to get a person off crack cocaine than it is to get them off cigarettes.
As a human being you shouldn't need to be told to comfort a crying child, to be concerned over a sick or hurting child much less to take a severely ill or injured child to the emergency room or doctor office. All of the above is simply common sense. But for the most part most new mothers who has to leave their babies will always or almost always repeat what to do in case of an emergency, accidentally injury or sudden illness. It sounds more like the father is being more than neglect but actually actively abusive.

Because the story has already been told by someone else and this has an annoying tinkling of an instrument a thumbs down from me. Stop playing music in the background. It's an audiobook, not a music channel.
