Only recently I came across your channel and from all Ive seen, you’ve got one of the best, if not the best looking Necromunda terrain. Awesome job, my man 👍🏻
Hey @tabletopwarjames how are you mate? I haven’t seen any necro stuff from you In a while but I love you content and your table talk inspired the hell out of me! Hope you’re well!
Hi dude I’m ok. I’m still alive, had lots going on in real life that has meant I’ve not been able to do anything. I’ll make a video at some point when I’m ready. Appreciate you checking in dude. Hope your ok to.
That’s great to hear mate, and always happy to keep an eye out on the good ones out there, I also have had my battles with life and mental health and it can be rough at times but on a positive note you’re passion for your hobby and for me specifically your necro terrain is awe inspiring and got me off my arse into getting mine sorted 😊
Your builds are incredible 🤩💖 About mental health. I recommend you try my method: "Stop caring about things you can't change" ...when you do this, for real, life will get x1000 times better. I'm not gonna go into detail but believe me when i say; i know this works. And it's worth it for your own sake. Just stop. And only focus on what you love.
I found some black sand at a craft store. I've been gluing it down and very lightly dry brushing color on it; white, silver or any tan/beige have all looked pretty nice. My question tho, how do you make your grass tufts?
Jesus man i felt like i was calling my GP or double glazing window shop or what have you with that socials drop in the beginning. Im sure the lady is lovely irl but caught me off guard.
This looks amazing! Well done. I’m going to try something similar, a couple of tiles at a time but for the 8mm scale Legions Imperialis - a massive city to fight over.
Why do people call this a build? Seriously, this is just assembling a (3D printed) kit, nothing else. Put your hands to real use and actually build stuff from scratch that inspires others to do more than glue together a simple kit.
loving your builds WarJames!. Been getting into a deep rabbit hole for necromunda terrain lately. You're a great inspiration. Tip : Be careful with the activator spray, first hand experience in a small space, it can irritate the lungs (its made to dry moisture).
Hey James, that flooring on the middle floor, it’s not the regular Sector Mechanicus floor, is it? It’s some 1/2 inch shorter than the one you used for the plasma core tile. Can you let us know where that one’s from?
Hey man, dò you have a discord or Instagram? I'm building up some of my new stuff for photo ops and some gameplay, but I had a question. What thickness plasticard do you prefer to build your walls with, just like the walls for the channel in this video? I've got cardstock to top all of my foam terrain work, but I was going to use plasticard for all of the industrial/sector mechanicus atyle places I'm working on. Getting my hands on the floor tiles has been a chore lately, very hard to find in Texas at the moment.
I'm trying to decide if I want to go the route of buying a few more boxes of Zone Mortalis to create it or carving it and mixing the few pieces of g.w. terrain I have on me currently. But I'm in the process of creating some sort of sludge Factory
