Something I’ve noticed is that in the 1st 5 episodes, there’s a lot more moments of Laney clearly liking Corey and Corey being an idiot. But after the cake episode, I think Corey intentionally didn’t acknowledged Laney saying that she wanted him to love her because it made the band split up in that episode until the duet. After that, Laney has what feels like a lot less crushing on Corey moments, and whenever he flutters Laney, it feels a lot more intentional
Love how Corey thinks of Laney as his “Dude” but gets REALLLYYY personal with Laney. I’m taking about cheek to cheek, arm around shoulder, hugs, boops on the nose, even KISSED her and acted like it wasn’t a big deal
Had a guy reject me and touch me alot. I asked him "why are you touching me?" This just reminded me of the mixed signals he gave me because Corey touches Laney ALOT but still defeminizes her.

I just realized how scary she can be and it's not just Corey sister I mean she can be really tough when she wants to be especially when it comes to love and her future boyfriend if he ever acknowledges her as a girlfriend
But you know what he's going to have to come to reality sooner or later and learn that his career after love because every time she tries to get close to him their friends get in the way of that

So it doesn't surprise me that "even tho he hates her" Corey follows her example, plus his naive nature you have a kid that oblivious to the feelings of others and his own. Also, glad to find another Grojband fan in 2024🤘🤘
