Happy 40th Anniversary to the best mafia/gangster movie of it's time. So sad this is the final masterpiece by Sergio Leone but it's still rememberable. Also to the late even great extraordinary composer, Ennio Morricone, you shall be missed. I always adoring old masterpiece movies because of the style. Thank you both for making this happen.
Remembering James Hayden - died at 29 - while working with Al Pacino on Broadway with “American Buffalo.” He was terrific in this movie. He died before it was released. He had already worked with De Niro, Pacino, Leone and even Frank Sinatra on “The First Deadly Sin.” Many actors loved him. Mickey Rourke dedicated his own outstanding performance in “Pope of Greenwich Village” to Hayden.
You will only ever fully understand and appreciate this movie, this soundtrack when you become an older man after you have met people, loved people, lost people, lost yourself and survived to reminisce. Utter beauty
My name is Ehab from Egypt and I am 22 years old. My best friend and I agreed that we would watch this movie together for the first time and shortly afterwards he died and we did not watch it. Then I watched it alone for the first time and this makes me unable to bear hearing this music because he was my friend since childhood and we grew up together and I could not imagine Losing him never, I hope this is a dream because I miss him so much and I can't be happy since he left, I miss you so much my dear friend💔
C'est bizarre, en écoutant ses chansons et en lisant vos commentaires on dirait en quelque sorte qu'on a tous vécu la même chose ensemble , la même vie , la vie de ce film car il est vivant et vit et survit grâce a sa musique. Grazie Ennio sei grande la nostra legenda riposa in pace ! Fza Ita
