I took multiple Christian denomination tests over the years to try to find the right church that had the strictest doctrine to be the best Christian who knew that my biggest enemies would be law enforcement and religious institutions against an individual who was never charged or convicted of a crime. Hightower unit has female officers bringing in contraband to building 5 . Apparently there is alot of staff that are involved in illegal activity on the hightower unit
Do you think that we can do something about the roaches and rats that seem to be overwhelming at every tdcj . This is inhumane my son has to live with roaches in his food rats running around and the toxic water they have to drink along with the heat its cruel and unuasal punishments and it makes me sick why dont some of u board members really do something go into these prisons and see how prisoners have to live. My dog lives better than that its not acceptable to me at all and needs serious oversight
We need to hold accountable the staff that abuses their power that get away with physically and sexually assaulting the prisoners. I want to know why no one does anything about the corruption within the staff of tdcj and why they are able to abuse our loved ones. And get away with it also i want them all to have nametags every officer should wear a nametag its mandatory.
What a load. Of course if you only put inmates in there that are good. The good ones don't need direction, the bad ones is who yall keep in G4 and G5 and turn them loose for society to deal with.
All they had to do is make sure every CO goes home with at least 5,000 every month....They will have staff and officers willing to work...anything else is BS
Tx has to long been about punishment and no rehabilitation, citizens need to realize that the majority of inmates will be back out with you so would you rather them just be punished the whole time they're there or would you rather them be taught that doing good brings reward
Nope ! Keep them working out on machines. If I had it my way , tobacco would be legal. A inmate that smokes & not a muscle monster is better to deal with.
Hell, why don’t we give them brand new trucks and Ferraris, when they leave. you know what? Maybe a nice mink coat or a nice Rolex or even a full paid vacation to the Bahamas or Hawaii while we are at it
I really can't believe the insanity of this board meeting! you have no air conditioning in Texas prisons, you have people dying of heat stroke , one just last month at Whynn. Not nearly enough ice machines and you're worried about how things are worded this is your yearly meeting. This is the most disgusting display of management I have ever witnessed! You all pray before your meeting , you all should be ashamed of yourselves! God have mercy on Texas "inmates"
