I think it is pretty ironic how a man can separate his professional side from his personal side, calling another a liar, hypocrite but yet he is lying to his wife/child and his vows. I certainly understand how she felt about him, that she "knew" him. And discovered it was from a past life. I also got involved with someone thirty years ago and he felt familiar to me, like I was "home ".....guess he didn't feel the same, cheated, left me for her, then stalked me for three years.....but he was a catalyst for me to as it was for her, to become spiritual. He was my TF, and I think Jerry was hers too...
I'm im seeing this movie for the first time. However , I have read her book when serving 72 days in jail for not following through with my probation meetings. That being said, and so much left unsaid .... The book moved me. I couldn't stop talking about it back then... You know I had forgotten how the book surprised me. Terms of endearment was how I recognized Shirley. That was when I was 10 years old watching the movie without even seeing the beginning . My friend and I came home after school or perhaps it was summer. Details I just cannot remember. It's been so long since I've reminisced about then. The first thing I thought was OMFG!!! That's what's up universe?! I so LOVE You.. ten years old, then again in 2015 or 16? When I read her book. Infact now that I remembered much I didn't realize I'd been farther from remembering till this very moment.. . The smile across my soul right now... Just wow , this very point in time this right now.... Magic. Life's a freaking Trip!! 🦋✨✨✨✨
I read it when it first came out. I sent the book to my dad. It changed our whole relationship. We were pen pals while we talked about *non institutional* ideas of death. She started our adventure in the alternative. Thank you so very much miss Shirley
Why am i here in 2024, my fate aligned to watch this movie. I am going through similar experiences and questions about the spiritual realm. Trying to figure out what the universe is telling me. I was in shock that a movie existed like this , that i can relate to.
Are we to believe that the cosmic force known as destiny has arranged circumstance that allow Shirley to have physical intimacies with this guy. Fate doesn't give a damn about the starving masses but they come together for Shirley's bedroom acrobatics

So let me get this right, in the middle of this memoir, Shirley McClain shows with clear demonstration how she and Bella avoided comparing finance laws by laundering her contributions through art purchases. Wild that she would want to tell that.
I saw the movie when it came out on television, rather revolutionary actually, for it's time, later I came upon the book, rather mind blowing, now I know the spirit realm is real and they are communicating all the time, if we pay attention...❤❤❤
Shirley MacLaine was instrumental in my spiritual awakening and my study of metaphysics. I was so excited when I heard her book, Out On A Limb, was to be made into a mini-series. I watched its premiere and have watched many times over the years since. Thank you, Shirley MacLaine, and thank you, Steffe Norberg for uploading this movie!
Where is part two? I love movies about rich liberals dripping in furs ,with multiple homes and enjoying world travel. Their concern for the poor is so evident.
the way to "know oneself" is to recognize one's faults so as to put the striving individual in check of knowing where one stands among peers... it is way too easy to overestimate strengths but always working on your weaknesses makes you stronger by default.... so recognizing past lives is the same reflection on one's mistakes but on a much grander scale usually dealing with a personality's strong faults, weaknesses, habits, etc. that also have existed throughout or in cycles of history... because as history repeats itself so do the faults of the human beings... humans leave an era once the majority overcome personal difficulties perplexing a society and move on to new problems... like currently AI which was not a problem to humans of prior generations BUT dependence and domination by a central authority has existed the same....
