The new character portraits are objectively awful. If you spend any time with the raw files themselves its disheartening to see the lack of quality and consistency. Did no one shrink them down to the 10 by 10px size to review in game? They stole 8 years of internalizing the portraits from you and gave you crap yet the seals still clap. Unbelievable .
How many of these have been offered more than once? Trying to figure out the chance that the latest ones will be offered again. As far as I can figure.. Multiple times offered: Starkiller, slkr, the rey bundles Help me out Only offered once: shadows, bam, the finalizer I really want that Padme bundle and the NS.
Barriss has been an asset in the files for a super long time, but the portrait redo for an unused NPC likely means that she could be featured as an enemy in one of the GL Ahsoka tiers. She framed Ahsoka and fought Anakin after all!
The new part about this is that they’ve been updated, not necessarily even the units themselves. Again, I reached out to several people and nobody was able to tell me anything further about this Edit: hold on bro I literally reached out to you, you could’ve told me more about this 😭😂😂

The Bounty Hunter Ventress has appeared in the game as a unit we battled. I don't remember if it was a Galactic Challenge or Conquest, but it sparked discussions of skins maybe coming to the game. All I remember was fighting her and getting super stoked!
There something that you might not understand about big companies management, which is completely fine. These companies do not count their pennies, they spend a lot of “wrong money”. In this case it means that there is no chance they separated characters portraits to such that should be updated and such that there is no use to update. They just gave the list of all and requested to be renovated.
Let me say this clearly - this is NOT an attempt at clickbait. I’ve talked to other creators and extremely knowledgeable players about every icon that I couldn’t find and everyone said that this was video worthy. If I had nothing worthwhile to share I wouldn’t make a video about it. I double farm marquees when I chase them. I quadruple farmed gungans. I went slow on Bo and almost done farming her. I bet you after all four marquees are dropped they have a shard drop opportunity. Like they did with gungans and they did it with Leia marquees last year
With the new Marquee structure it normally costs me about $130 per character - buying the $30 pack and spending less than $100 in crystals but varies based on how much I've spent in between marquees.
With the new Marquee system, the best way to get marquee characters up fast (with out just opening up the wallet and spending about £150) is to Buy the £30 pack to get the shards so you can 4* (tho if you dont wana buy the £30 pack then you can spend a bit more crystals to get them up that way) then do the 4* event for the bonus shards, then spend Crystals (usually its between 7-10k depending on your luck) to get them to 5* (ideally on day 1 of the event so you can get extra days of the 5* bonus shards) and then make sure to play each tier of the Marquee event each day for the bonus shards, and then by the end of the event (unless you got lucky with your shard pulls from crystaling up to 5*) then you should be around 10-15shards on average away from 6*, which once the character then becomes farmable with 2-3 refreshes each day of that characters farm should be 7* with in 1-2 months time and then when it comes to Marquee characters that will be required for Gl Ahsoka which ever one becomes farmable 1st if you followed the guide for marquee characters should be 7* by the time she is available, but for the later once you will most likely also have to spend crystals on the shards of them once they become available in the Shipments in order to get them to 7* in time/ with in 1-2 months of Ahsoka being available (this was how i was able to get Gl leia 1 month after her launch)
I forgot to mention that doing it this way for the marquee characters will result in you being able to get 120 Shards for free as the 1st time you complete each tier for the marquee event you get 10 shards, and then daily doing Tier 3 onwards will give you 5 shards each day which over the course of the 7days will add up to 170shards
Instead of whaling on the packs in shop, start crazy hoarding crystals now. Once they release all the ahsoka marquee characters they will have probably 1 bonus drop event before she’s released and a second bonus drops within a few months after her release (if cg continues what they have been doing). Plus when they’re farmable most likely 1 req will be cantina and the others will be a low/mid energy hard node farm so it won’t be too bad of a farm long run. So just save for the node farming (20k+ crystals before the first bonus drop which will probably be 2-3 months from now)
I don’t waste time/crystals farming new marquees because I just have so much to catch up on, but the drop rates for bonus drop nodes are worth it up to the 400 refresh (compared to the value you get from the initial 1299 crystal pack)
no its still better to use Crystals on the marquee event to get them up to 5* cause by the end of the event you will be 10-15 shards short of 6* and doing that will help to save about 2-3months worth of single drop farming characters, and yes in theory they could have a bonus drop for them, but you cant give advise to some one to say hey ignore this good way to get character shards now from crystals and instead save them for later on in the hopes the do a bonus as there is no guarantee they will do that, where as there is a guarantee of getting 120 character shards for free from spending crystals to get the character to 5* during the Marquee event
i forgot to mention that previously/ with the old Marquee system the best way to get Shards for the Marquee characters would be save crystals and then wait till they went to the Shipments then buy the shards for them and also make sure to do 2-3+ refresh farms if they went to normal or fleet campaign rather then Cantina
I think Red 5 should go to Home One, and Rogue One should go to Profundity if they were to add lifters. For the GL Thrawn appearance, I think if they weren't adding the Death Troopers from the show into SWGOH, they would've worked well standing behind Thrawn or Night Troopers using different designs. Having people behind him could be similar to how the upcoming Great Mothers will be (3 people in 1 unit). Either that or give him the Legends appearance with the different shoulder tassels and his serpent.
The art changes have really pissed me off, everyone’s praising CG but they just stole art from countless different medias. That’s why Malak, Bastila, and other Old Republic characters look so different from Krennic for example. Just stolen from Kotor or wherever the character originated. And the generic characters were absolutely AI generated. But what really irks me is the fact that the new models don’t even look close to the marquees and conquests we’re getting. Night Trooper has that old cartoony yet almost live action look to him that I’ve come to enjoy over the years, and you can easily tell it’s Night Trooper from the picture. But now the other characters around him have these unnecessarily realistic yet grainy portraits that just make teams look horrible when paired together. Same with Malgus and Sith Empire. I just want them to at least give me the option to use the old portraits because these just look so out of place with the game, I don’t feel like playing anymore
I agree with everything here except the AI generated part, the lighting wouldn't be this dynamic and faces that clean if that was the case. But super frustrating to see companies just blatantly steal art
@@AsTeroidmech It could have been touched up after the initial generation, I just feel like the generic characters look way too different from other characters of the same period that they’re probably generated. But whether it was generated or not they put so little effort in that it’s insulting to the community
@@lordofhunger5175 tbh I don’t care if it’s stolen, most of the toons look good. It’s also just refreshing to have some new artwork in game. I hope they end up changing the character models as well.
Gotta be honest, Night Trooper’s a double edged sword with the current Remnants. With Alert, he’s going to be attacking out of turn A LOT, and racking up the Blight stacks on himself. But it says in his kit he gains Frenzy whenever he has 5 Blight stacks. Meaning he’s going to be recovering 100% Health and Protection whenever another ally uses a special ability 💀 Damn brilliant for survivability, not so good for inflicting Blight on the enemy. I’m sure people will find a strategy though. I’m so hyped to get this guy!

i think maul would be more likely requirement than enoch. they never even met on the show. and if it stands how you have it we'd need 6 marquis. thats way too many i think. i think iti'll be 4 and a ship so no enoch and no general syndula. i think maybe bo katan rather than general syndula
Enoch is almost confirmed, they said they were giving us the new imperial remnants as the marquees. I agree that it’s too many marquees but they’ve also said themselves that they’re going to add new characters for Ashoka’s new team. They may not be requirements however. Not sure how maul would be over Enoch here.
@@AsTeroidmech yeah but the Marquis are gonna be released for both ahsoka and baylan. Thet are requiring 1 more unit than normal and requiring a ship. Plus they just recently increased the number of new Marquis characters to 4 and if the ship is a new ship that's all gonna be a lot already without requiring the characters which are gonna be for her team.
@@AsTeroidmechnot all the new marquees are required for Ashoka specifically some will be required for Baylan which I’m guessing his reqs will include NightTrooper, Death Trooper(peridea, Captain Enoch, Shin Hati. And possibly The Great mothers, Morgan Elsbeth, maybe even the one inquisitor we saw. But I think the nightsisters are more towards Thrawn than they are towards Baylan so maybe just have 5 with the troopers Shin Hati and the new Inquisitor. As Baylan could be the Lead with Dark Side UFUs with Shin, the new inquisitor, and the two left over inquisitors.
