Get Behind the Brand to learn how to build your brand. Get smarter and make more money in business by listening to my podcast with some of the smartest people on the planet.
Founded in 2008, Behind the Brand with Bryan Elliott is a show about innovators, entrepreneurs and the stories behind their success. It's like a backstage pass inside the brand strategy and marketing minds, companies and habits of some of the smartest and most interesting people on the planet. Host, Bryan Elliott decodes these stories to help you turn their wisdom into practical tactics that you can use to improve your life and grow your business. Why do this? I basically invented the podcast I wish I had when I quit my corporate job and started my own business. I made a lot of mistakes and figured things out the hard way. I've been inspired by so many of my guests and I know you'll find a ton of value here as well. Podcast series / Marketing:
It's crazy how everyone is fighting to say the first.. we are learning from one another. Let's let it be that... how about you ask people what you're good at.. then relax it will come..
I feel like it’s extremely useful to break extreme procrastination that genuinely fucks up your life… but I feel like in general a balance is still needed, you can’t just ignore the cues your body is giving you all the time.. it can be quite detrimental.
But if you ignore your “feelings” and your “body” for too long.. it can have serious effects on your health, no? If you, as she says, constantly “shut off your feelings” - you’d eventually burn out..?! It doesn’t “fix” your anxiety, it just allows you to ignore it… yet it’s still being stored inside.. which isn’t always a good thing. I think that Productivity is only productive where there’s a balance in place!
Thank you so much for this wonderful interview. I discovered so much about Dan Reynolds and Thank you because his words reached my heart. Having always been hindered from reaching my dreams and doing artistic work, his words touched me greatly. ❤
Contradict everything he says and you will become financially free. You don't need to like what you do as long as it pays well. Pump as much as you can into Bitcoin which will average 100% per year. Become rich as fast as possible. If you do it slowly you are in the trouble with dollar loosing value plus inflation. These Boomers still think its the 60s. What they say will get you into huge problems.
If he believed In God, he wouldn't want to be here any longer than he had to be. It does not matter what he does, his days are numbered by God, not science. All of this is pointless if he dies in a car crash tomorrow...nothing is guaranteed in this life except for the Truth of Jesus Christ...
"Procrastination is like masterbation. In the end you only screwed yourself" Seen this with a photo years ago when FB just started. Courage is the power to let go of the familiar. Seen this on my church sign while going through my 2nd divorce while my Mother was passing from mestatic terminal cancer. 2003 ✊🏻✊🏻❤️✊🏻✊🏻
So spend every second of my life searching for a talent that I may or may not have. But not just any talent, one that can be monetized. Hmmmmmmmm……..but my talent is blinking - how do I make money with that! If only I didn’t waste my time watching my screen, and listening to your advice, but then I wouldn’t have learned about your secret to wealth and would not have even realized that I had to have a talent - damn it I feel like a time loop has eaten my life away. Well here’s hoping one day I can be a money obsessed, shallow one dimensional looser who has centralized wealth as the only metric that I use to measure my actual human value and place in society!
For me, the ultimate goal of wealth is freedom. In my perspective, 5 million is the magic figure that will let me to be worry-free at 65 years old. Is it preferable for me to save money or allocate a significant amount of my salary to stocks in order to accomplish this goal?
Varied sources of income is wise and especially living within your means. My net worth is $2M and I can pay my bills with no stress, but I don't live like I have that. I have no complaints.
Net worth truly snowballs after $100k! Keep investing regularly and you'll be blown away how much it can change in a few short years. Here's to $5 million and to FIRE!
Money advice is subjective, what works for you may not work for someone else, but it's always better to plan. I'm quite lucky exposed to personal finance at an early age, started job 19, bought first home 28, got laid-off work 36 amid covid-outbreak, and at once I consulted an advisor to handle growing my finance. As of today, I'm only 25% short of my $1m goal after subsequent investments.
@greekbarrios bravo! i'm 46, inherited money from a childless relative and traveled overseas, got married to a lady almost my age, but the only issue is how to preserve and grow my wealth in view of retirement, can your advisor be of help please?
5, 4, 3, 2, 1… Tell the TRUTH Or The Truth Will Tell On You. DISREGARDING FEELINGS IS ALSO KNOWN AS “CHOOSING HOW YOU FEEL. good luck with “changing what you say about yourself”. You never know when someone who KNOWS WHAT THE TRUTH SOUNDS LIKE might be able to HEAR THE TRUTH YOU THINK YOURE HIDING.
2 years later this "problem" is still being discussed over and over. When are grown men going to step up and mentor these young men? When are grown men themselves going to accept that EVERYTHING takes effort: careers AND relationships. Yes, most grown men are mad at employers and women that they are expected to make an effort, to actually work at EVERYTHING. Welcome to the real world.
One thing I noticed is the way he feels comfortable sitting with his feet on the furniture. He must not have been living with a female at this point because females would nag.
@@BehindtheBrand This video was about the 5-Second Rule. "Let them" was the message of a different video. Perhaps you accidentally switched the titles?
Great video! I really enjoyed Mark Manson's insights on the impact of using the 'F' word in his books and content. It's fascinating to hear about what he's gained and lost from it. Looking forward to more engaging content like this!
