I love watching these beautiful and intelligent ladies, thanks to this video, I learned a few more insights about Sabah. I love the slight Indonesian accent in Bornean Malaysian people's accents, haha.
upak pisang = umbut pisang... what i miss when balik kampung is the vege... bunga durian, daun timun, daun labu, daun kacang, pucuk keladi, pucuk daun mawang, miding, all the upak (umbut pisang, nanas, tepus, sawit, kelapa, etc).. even the chicken from kampung taste better than chicken bandar.. the fish.. 😋
I’m Filipino and I think Nigerians here in the Philippines are far more intelligent than any other nationalities studying medical courses in universities. Though they cant work here, some may get special working visa and land as print ad models, sports players and lots are into vlogging. Welcome to the Philippines. But just the same for the few who do illegal things will always land in jail.
As a person who live in Lahad Datu, I can confirm that : 1. I agree about that finance thing to live in Sabah *today* is the same as we live in peninsula Malaysia, even I live in outback of Sabah 2. About the pirates issue, now it is lesser than back in 2013.. as from my point of view😅 3. Another stereotype that I've always heard about Sabah is PTI problem, uneducated people and economic problem that always rely from peninsula Malaysia, Sabah & Sarawak people similar to US country which are not so many muslim people
4:00 Sarawak gov. already organised RWMF to showcase Sarawak traditional music. Over the years, we have seen more and more bands have emerged. Ad Adau for example... has played their music internationally. Tuku' Kamek is one of the pioneering bands. RWMF has instill more and more interests by locals in their traditional musical instruments that it is seeing the revival of almost extinct musical instruments like the Lun Banwang's tapi', the Iban's blikan and engkerurai... I think Sarawak's traditional music & traditional fusion have more appreciation outside of Malaysia. Takda orang gatekeep sebenarnya... cuma taste di semenanjung tak sama je.
There are many ethicity in Sarawak. My question how do they preserve their ethicity such as berawan or bisaya? Do they restrct marriage on their ethicity ? BTW I love mee kolok
Kudos on your efforts to expose Sarawak to other parts of Malaysia, especially West Malaysia! Despite being part of the same nation, many still aren't fully aware of Sarawak's rich culture, unique traditions, and stunning landscapes. Bridging this gap helps foster greater understanding and unity within our diverse country. Keep up the great work! Alsooo luv u Clay! 🫶🏻
There is nothing to be ashamed of. I don't have a morning shower habit because 1) my family never have that kind of "routine" throughout my entire life 2) I sleep in air-cond room and I take a bath before I sleep every night. 3) I don't eat any spicy food AT ALL in my diet like curry/turmeric etc etc so I never have any body odour. So how much sweat would I get right after waking up under an air-cond with 23 degrees? Those who want or have the morning bath routine, go ahead. But should not judge or shame others because really....what gives u the right?
As an Indonesian, I can relate with the people-from-a-specific-island-thinking-that-people-in-the-other-islands-live-primitively thingy and that's so annoying.
