I have been using this ceat grip xl for 2 years 15000 km.Way better than zapper.. Comparatively improved stopping confidence.. good wet grip better offroadability and better grip on road condition also.. I'm planning to change tyres but i would prefer same brand.. Affordable and value for money
Thank you for the insight inside the engine. I have been facing similar noise which has been driving me crazy. I'll have SVC check the push rods and report back if that fix the issue.
I Tried adjusting the clutch myself but the problem arises now when I engage clutch when bike is in any gear there is no free movement of wheel (as if clutch isn’t working, gears are always engaged even when holding the clutch)
In the classic 350 reborn, there are no hydraulic tappets.. the valve actuation is through timing chain mechanism.. so, if at all the tic tic noise comes, it would not definitely because of the tappets, but probably due to the timing chain or any other components
Yes it is.. may be some minor adjustments could be made after starting the engine (if at all for ensuring proper oil flow). But strictly mibro adjustments!! Because there are chances that the threads of the rocker bolts or the head may get damaged because of the valve spring loading if the bolts are loose while the engine is in operation
Did you keep the ceat grip xl only in the rear wheel? Is it a problem if we keep the zapper in the front and ceat grip xl in the back? Or do we need to change both?

I have a 4,000 k 2020 500 engine and am not happy with the quality of the Enfield build parts used. I have the same ticking noise and am thinking I'll have to trailer it 300 k's to the Enfield dealer for the repairs.
