FYI, it doesn't charge if you use a super fast wall adapter. It will show 9.0v input and the lightning icon will pop up BUT input amp will show 0.0 A., that means it's not charging.
Question: how did you secure the screws in your dash for the mounting plate. I just bought one and I have a 17 yr old. I’m sure she’ll forget to pullout the screen when she’s out and about. I gave her my 2012 Honda accord exl. The car has Navi and Bluetooth capabilities. Thanks.
Having the Solar panel for 1 month now I have to admit that this is working just fine. And most of the times the battery is fully charged again 1 hour after sunrise. in the winter this may be a bit less quicly but as the battery makes it possible to let the cam work for a few weeks there is problem waiting for a sunny hour. There is however one thing i would like to mention. If you in stall the solar panel, just plug it in and keep you setup the way it was. I made the mistake to think that adding the solar panel made the device a wired device and so i changed the setup to a wired device. That had a huge impact on the battery and it ran down dureing the night and it was not to be fully loaded again by the solar panel. That caused my cam to be off line a few hours per day. Puting this back to the battery setup made all the difference. Now it really works like a charme!!

Waste of time video. Lots of talk. No help at all. We all know this stuff. Warm it up. Bring it inside. Charge to 100 percent. Days are getting shorter. Nights getting longer. Useless. Need someone to answer how do you deal with your camera when you are 50 miles away and the temperature is minus 30.
Night time I find the rear view hard to drive. Headlight glare is very distracting. Can you adjust the brightness on tgd rearview screen. Still want to see traffic behind me. Thanks 👍
Hi after 3 days my camera Screen is freeze with blue car picture . Nothing happened I try several times on off unplugged and deleted old videos and several times reset . Still camera not working . You have any solutions of my problem
I can't get mine to play on the speakers of my car it's playing from lamtto I have a Bluetooth car stereo and my phone is connected lamtto and the car Bluetooth stereo and the music is playing from lamtto can't get it to play on the car speakers
I bought one but it just turns on and off, it turned on once and I honestly just thought it was dead. But I left it charging for an hour and it started to turn off and on again so I’m not sure what I can do to fix that.
Hi there. So these are pass through power, correct? I can charge/run my laptop whilst pumping A/C 240 mains into this device at the same time, correct? Just save me taking my laptop A/C power cable with me when I travel.
You can connect it to your phone, that’s really the only WiFi capabilities it has. It’s useful for playback or making settings changes. You will not be able to set up some sort of automatic backup to cloud storage.

APC 1500 S uses, 24V 9,4Ah battery. To cheaply extend UPS time, you can get huge lifepo4 battery, suitable charger and a true sine power inverter. When the power goes out, pull ups plug from the wall and connect UPS to Inverter. If you really want you can make this setup work for days, not hours. If you get a 24V 100Ah or 200Ah battery, using the same load it will last you 10 or 20 times longer than your APC 1500 S. Cheaper UPS models, might have crappy square wave, but almost any diecent budget inverter has pure sine wave, the same or often times better then comes out of the wall.
Yeah not a lot of battery in this thing. For about 200 more I would have a 12v 100ah lifpo4 , a cheap inverter and charger and be able to run that setup all day.
The guy who invented ring did it from his basement for friends coming to visit when he was busy in his home. Hes a great guy and product was great with extras going on. I guess he sold out to another guy.
