i couldn't agree more with this vid there was once a time, where made a mc smp and invited my friends from school, who I hadn’t talked to much beforehand. we started a discord for the server, laid some rules, and got it going. but things turned south real fast. my friends quickly abandoned each other and made bases hundreds of blocks from spawn, and wars started breaking out between them, while I reluctantly joined one person’s team and built a base, only to have it destroyed the next day bc my other friends had been online at midnight fighting each other. not only that but the members regularly accused one another of hacking, a server scanning griefing bot joined and caused mild destruction, and the discord got raided by one of our own members safe to say that server lasted only about a month
