The team typically still has players acquired that had horrific plus minus like Kane and Jeff Skinner. I don't care about excuses like injuries. I don't expect fans to do the right thing. I do expect the Oilers to lose again because they don't have positive plus minus players in general. The team's age is the worst in the NHL I believe. The team is a lot better I will grant you that. Knoblauch now has a full season at the helm to solidify his structure and really have a feel for the team. Young players like Holloway, Broberg, and maybe even Savoie seem primed for a breakout/impactful seasons. With the retention of our whole elite 3rd line and aquiring Skinner (yes despite your ill conceived worries he will score 25+ goals with this team) and Arvidsson we have the deepest forward group in the entire league. They were one win away from the Stanley cup man. Choose to not have a pessimistic view, might be you’d enjoy watching the team.
@@Parture go look at the stats for the team this year. Most players are positive, many in the double digits, and the couple who are negative are depth players and aren’t that negative. Also +/- is a terrible stat that isn’t that useful. Cool that you ignored the rest of what I said.
