I rented my Rhodes to these guys for a small gig in WY in the ‘80’s. I had no idea who Vince Gill was at the time. They were nice blokes to deal with. After the show I BS’d with them for a few minutes and then they were off to catch their plane to Jackson Hole.
I imagine "The Raes" probably wish they could take back that decision to turn down the CBC contract. Somebody might have even recognized their name years later... Vanity is a powerful drug...
I could’ve sworn it was called the Sherri show, maybe that’s just what I used to call it. My mom and me would watch this show when I was little and it’s one of my favorites
Her and Neil should never have nixed Myron Grombacher and the other guitar player - they stopped rockin shortly thereafter and the dual guitar sound was gone for good
I'd love to know the differing lyrics they used for The Irish Rover here. Checking the dates, this was recorded about the same time Cash's Columbo episode was released.
Love this album by album interview with the Moodies it’s great to listen to Justin and John’s opinions love all their albums everyone of them is unique 💙
Who leaked this CBC video footage that is usually far too tied up in rights issues that most of CBC vintage footage disappears never to see the light of the public day ever again? Awesome to see.
The dumbest most annoying interview. They had no interest in discussing ANYTHING related to the Hurting and they had stated this repeatedly in other interviews. They were out to promote Big Chair. The interviewer had no interest in the band or he'd have done the most minimal amount of research and would know that. But the interviewer starts out do you have any advice for young people. WTF
Make sure the Cast Iron is almost white hot Put the in once they turn from gray red. That's the time to take them off the heat unless you want rubber for diner...
