Sometimes I feel like I have split personalities ( I don’t). One month might be all things Vikings switching to all things WW2 era then haunted everything and Addams familyesque then Medieval. I need a mansion and two more lifespans just to complete my UFOs! I know your UFO pain. It visits regularly.
What a joy to watch! From the incredible intro to the very end, I was riveted! As my husband & I watched you creating the vines & flowers, he said "She should add Bougainvillea." And then, you did! LOL Loved everything about this. So well done!
Imagine getting a switch with no games as a present and being too broke to afford a single game for months 😂😂 I literally bought my little sister a switch, several accessories, extra joycons and grip, and multiple games for her bday just from me
Cute!!! Both the tiny scale and the abundant use of wood glue makes me think of the channel Raven's Movie Minis. She makes the case that wood glue is the best glue for paper and cardboard since they are, in fact, made from wood
I've found that using a fan on things that have been superglued helps prevent the white cloudiness. It blows the fumes away before they adhere to the surrounding areas and turn cloudy.
Cute idea for cardboard tubes. It came out very nice too. Good tip about drawing the picture out. I often hear those words from other You Tube Creators. But never really thought about when I have something in my head. I like the Acorn top perfectly suitable for a fairy house.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌻🌺🌷
When I was younger, we used torn pieces of masking tape on a piece. We overlapped them and covered them with shoe polish at the end. It created this really interesting organic texture. I’m not sure if that will help you in any of your projects.
Hi. Great video. I need some guidance in getting crafting tools--- what brand are the tweezers you are using to put those tiny details in place, and where did you get those tweezers, please?
I got these tweezers from amazon in a model making kit a few years ago but they are actually pretty bad in my opinion. I have been wanting to replace them. : (
I've ofter disliked colored pencils because they don't work for tiny details. Have you considered using mechanical colored pencils 0.5 is my favorite? I definitely suggest also purchasing a Pilot Dr. Grip pencil because colored lead is so fragile. The Dr. Grip pencils prevent wasted & broken lead. Your fairie's clothes, wings, & skintone & lips turned out so lovely! I've often wished to purchase beautiful Black fairies with natural hair, but sadly, there's such a huge gap in that particular market.
Not only is this craft so sweet and magical, but your into was a delight! Your elf/fairy costume is lovely and the whole "dream sequence" was so whimsical and fun. Also I love your cat's name. I remember Koko's Kitten from Reading Rainbow!
adorable!! the fairy lights were a great addition. (and the intro sequence was so cute! Always great to see people having fun with their projects) and how funny that your cat has an inexplicable spiritual hatred for this little house 🤣
Omg you’re in LA too! Any tips on where to take photos of projects out in nature? I’ve been going to Griffith park, but there are so many people around, I always feel self conscious lol
No yeah it's tricky! There were even people around when I was frolicking around as a fairy 😂! I've just gone for it where ever looks best for the build or is convenient at the time. I've kinda been all over the city. I did one at the beach, I found some smaller parks near me for some, I've gone to Griffith, I've gone to Topanga for like foresty shots. I think it helps that I'm usually only filming something small so I'll like plop it in the grass somewhere and just film it before I can get self conscious lol.
@@missminilife oh, Topanga is a good idea! I hadn’t thought to try there. But yeah, I can see how the real solution is maybe just being okay with people seeing you frolic haha
That's so cute. I love all the little detail. Oddball was attacking it because they know you shouldn't invite in the fae. (Luckily the steel in the light pack should keep them away.) ;P
