Thank you so much for a clear look at the Motion interface and how to start using it's inbuilt capabilities . Nothing else has inclined me to actually go in and start trying to use the app - always been too much information in too short a time. Having owned Motion more than ten years, may actually be able to start using it.🙂
I first saw this video about 2 years ago when i started to fiddle with fusion. couldnt really grasp it then but now i know this the best way to do cleanup in resolve. Thank you.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. @3:24, both of those shots are VERY OBVIOUSLY shot in the day. Yes, the shadows are in a different place, so they were shot maybe an hour apart but to claim that the one on the left is moonlit is absolute nonsense. In fact, there is not a shot in this film that is even slightly passable as an actual night shot.
Best keying tutorial! Thanks! I got weary of watching “Tutorials” from confused beginners. (Like me!) I have been around long enough that I edited my first documentary on a real moviola! I also worked at Film Effects of Hollywood for a while in 1974. They already knew that their days were numbered due to computers…
se me cuelga y se me cierra After Effects cuando pongo el modo cinema 4d ? y si intento abrir un proyecto en modo cinema 4d igualmente me sale el panel de enviar informe y se cierra.
Thank you! Production>Unlock Page Numbers. Keeps from adding a 1A or 2A etc when editing the overall script. It will remove it if you've left it locked and add the 5A by accident.
When editing a saved script, such as adding Dialogue or Action, it will add a secondary page if it goes past the number of lines on the existing page. It won't move all the content to a next existing pages. For example, adding something to page 5 that doesn't fit will create a page 5A. A huge blank space will appear before Page 6 that cannot be removed by anything I can find. So, when you don't want to create a REVISION, but just add something to the existing version, how do you prevent secondary pages from being created? How do you remove all of this empty space? (Delete and backspace and Cut does nothing) Doing it to a revision does the same thing. Help and FAQ and Knowledge Base offers no help.

I cad my own colour interpolation algorithm years ago, and I thought two sided cones were how it would only logically be organized. Turns out rgb is organized into a cube, but if you stretch a point here and there it maps to hls. Knowing this seemingly trival thing would have helped, as I just implemented the HSL algorithm from wikipedia and would have loved to see the colour cube first. It makes sense now.
Actually a prizm camera would work like the human eye. At least for color. It would require 4 image sensors and a prizm that splits the light. Walt Disney made a film camera that did this so it should be easier to do so with digital cameras. The 4 sensors would be for the 3 colors RGB. Thay are the colors of light we blend in camera already. The 4th sensor is for light sensitivity and transparency. You would get more accurate color rendering and better quality light sensitivity. You would also have more control in post production.
The interactive zooming hotkeys dont seem to work with a Wacom Intuos 5 on Windows 10. In fact not even the Wacom preferences window shows up if Fusion is installed. Any ideas?
Dear filmmakers in 2023 and beyond, please, for the love of God, STOP filming scenes entirely in darkness. Its annoying. People watch your films in broad daylight as often as a dark theatre. So please stop. Its not good. I see it all the time where films are way too dark In the Q and A, he says Luminance is one of the most important features, and I could not agree more. Stop filming pure black scenes. We cant see jack!
If I knew all of this back in 2009, my life will be in a different path. I'm continuing what I left back in 2009 which is photography and I am glad i found your video. very helpful! THANK YOU!
It's only there when there is raw footage/clip. Raw being the sensor data without processing for temperature, iso etc. it's why it is so much easier to make such heavy modification to the media as it essentially changes the camera settings after the shoot.
