Is it ok if you don’t have self-rising flour? Believe it or not I couldn’t find it at the store(I live in a rural area and they don’t stock a lot of stuff sadly)
It’s been a pleasure to watch you make this from scratch and not with that instant help puffing. I make mine like this as far as same ingredients. Not sure which milk you used and I don’t use flour I just cook until the egg yoke thickens my evaporated milk. I also some years ago began to mix all my ingredients in a large bowl and taste to exactly like I want storing egg yolk and all including vanilla extract. It worked out fine so I been doing it that way for years now. So refreshing to watch, thank you❣️🙏🏾🥰
MINE came out all wrong today..I used half and half and coconut flour..had to use corn starch slurry to get it to thicken at all..and it looked like the milk had curdled...??? Any suggestions??thanks
I made this and it’s good. Not really taste the pineapple much but next time I’ll add some of the juice. About a tablespoon. Any way it’s a nice bread with my coffee . 😊 thank you for sharing
Oh my! Glad I found your video. I just got the can peaches to make a cobbler tomorrow in the crockpot, but I’m gonna do mine in the oven as well for that browned crust. Next time I’ll go to the dollar tree and get the apple and cherry pie filling and cake mix thanks to you.
I have posted in a while. I let the website go due to lack of engagement. Thank you for the compliment and thank you for watching. Please take a moment to share. 💜
Thank you for sharing. This looks delicious. I am 74 and I love to use my crockpot. I just wanted to share something, I have a crockpot similar to yours that can lock, but I was told not to cook with it locked, only lock if you are traveling with it. It can and has built up too much heat and pressure that it can break your glass top. So, since I heard that, I don’t take the risk. Thank you again.❤️✝️
Bake time is about 1hr ppl. Just tried it myself. Let stand for 10 min so loaf keeps its form. Also adding half cup raisins, half cup of maccadamias and 1 tsp of nutmeg makes it all go the distance. Perhaps half tsp of bicarb would be better because mine half exploded.
