You will never seal meat with a pan full of onions, you need 'searing. heat! Your meat looked red raw and devoid of any colour (and therefore added flavour). Trying to do it all in one pot may look good for the camera but if the aim is "flavour" as you say, you ought to focus on that. Good luck with your future videos. By the way, if you tell people to put at least 100ml of water/liquid in (as the manual suggests) it would be better than "not too little not too much" which helps not at all.

I've used pressure cookers for 30+ years. My tip is to use the fat from your joint/roast this makes your roast potatoes taste wonderful and also makes cooking a lot cheaper (utilising what's going to waste means you don't need to buy extra). Draining the water from all veggies into the gravy a pan ( I use a spatula to prevent the potatoes from falling into the pan or a sieve sat on the pan) using the bi-products of the food you're cooking intensifies the flavour meaning you can reduce the salt.
II BOUGHT TWO OF THESE PRESSURE COOKERS ON AMAZON IN DIFFERENT SIZES WHICH WAS A MAJOR INVESTMENT FOR ME.AFTER TWO MONTHS I NOTICED ALL THE HANDLES CRACKING IN THE SAME PLACE AND THE HANDLES INCORPERATE A VITAL MECHANISM FOR CLOSING THE LID.iN FACT THESE PRESSURE COOKERS ARE DESIGNED TO BREAKDOWN IN SEVERAL PLACES AND THE SPARE PARTS COST A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT,THE HANDLES COST ALTOGETHER FOR 4 240 EURO.THEY COOK WELL ENOUGH BUT THEY WILL LAST NOT FOR LONG:MUCH BETTER TO BUY SECOND HAND ON EBAY!!!
these cookers look impressive but the bits responsible for the fundamental working of the cooker are made of rubbish .I bought two different sizes and the handles of both cracked after 2 months so rendering the mechanism for closing the lid useless,to replace them it costs 240 euro.Apart from this the valve always comes unscrewed and te handles have to be perpetually tightened as they are forever coming loose.Not worth the money .Better to buy second hand on ebay
These pressure cookers are very expensive and the spare parts are ridiculously priced.I bought 2 sizes of pressure cooker and found the handles cracking after a couple of months and other bits fell off ,as bad quality plasticThese pressure cookers are designed to be broken.Much better to buy a second hand pressure cooker.I am not saying they dont cook well but they are not worth the enormous amounts of money to keep them working

Bjr serais interessee par cette cocotte, je pensais que l’on gagnait du temps en eteignant le feu et que les aliments continuaient de cuire jusque a la descente de la vapeur. Or sur les recettes que l’on voit, il n’en n’est pas question. Qu’en est il du gain de temps vis a vis d’une autre cocotte minute. Merci
