An attempt at lyric transcription. Any help with corrections would be appreciated, especially with the first verse. Oh la la la ohhhhhhh It lingers on, this road has been so long, And words they fail, the language was so wrong. But peace may bring, songs we have tried to sing. They tell a tale of heros and ???????? If we should fall, who won't recall this life in wartime. Remember love, the victim of, this life in wartime. This life in wartime. We long for days, for travel by night safe, the only thing that'll let us down. But we can hide, somewhere they can't find, a quiet place, where you can show your face. If we should fall, who won't recall this life in wartime. Remember love, the victim of, this life in wartime. This life in wartime. And I feel bad. I'm broken now. While love remains, to live in chains. If we should fall, who won't recall this life in wartime. Remember love, the victim of, this life in wartime. If we should fall, who won't recall this life in wartime. Remember love, the victim of, this life in wartime. This life in wartime. Our lives in wartime.

They tell a tale of, heroes and praying. If we should fall, we wont recall, this life in wartime We long for days, but travel's by night's safe And I feel down, I'm broken now..... It's been a long time, but I still remember some words. x
@@stephenfleming8030 I turned my son onto this song years ago, and tonight we were in heavy traffic leaving a baseball game and he started playing old songs. He went to RU-vid to play this and he saw your replies to my attempt at transcription. So awesome to see your response, unfortunately 3 year late! Fantastic song; thank you!
The Class 142s are always remembered for their West Country chocolate and cream livery when first introduced in 1985 which was coincidently the GWR 150. Now Angel Trains have no plans to modify them under the enforced Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 2020 meaning they will have be withdrawn as electrifcation projects will enable a cascade of more suitable stock from other areas.
How thoroughly adorable! I've never seen these before. Then again, having lived in Canada all my life may help explain that. Silly little Willy Weasel!
Not so much to fill a rolling stock shortage, but the culmination of many years development with the LEV railbuses and the Class 140. The Class 141s followed, along with the 142s, 143s and 144s.
Pacers are basically a Leyland National bus - which was highly successful and sold all around the world. Most of the parts are from the bus. They do not have swivelling bogies, only two axles. So the ride can be uncomfortable. They were a quick makeshift class to fill a rolling stock shortage in the 1980s, and cheaply using a bus as the basis. Despite the limitations they are cheap and successful, although long in the tooth now.
There used to be a cel-animated PFI pertaining to the Tufty Club designed to educate young children on road safety. PIFMAN092 used to hold such a PIF, but now its inaccessible. If anyone remembers this PIF, please shoutout whenever possible.
It's sad to see this classic route as only single track, but nice to see Flagship Land Cruises as provided by operators like Rovos Rail. As you say, it's lack of traffic, certainly compared to over 20 years ago when I believe trains were steam worked over this line. I read somewhere hope of recommissioning (and wiring) the disused track could come from increased iron ore traffic but perhaps this has yet to materialise.
Nice Video clip! Forgive me for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Proutklarton Find Yourself Plan (should be on google have a look)? It is a smashing exclusive product for becoming a successful freight worker minus the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my close friend Aubrey at very last got cool results with it.
Kudos for the video content! Forgive me for butting in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Proutklarton Find Yourself Plan (google it)? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for becoming a successful freight worker without the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my close friend Aubrey got astronomical success with it.
I seem to remember Tufty appearing in black-and-white stop motion adverts in the sixties. Are they known to survive? And was amused to see how these cleverly these colour ones were used in TUFTY THE SQUIRREL IS VERY NAUGHTY as wasn't sure how much of that classic was made with original footage. A useful lesson in montage... Robert Smith
