Hey guys, just be aware. People are certain use bleeder brakes now so this type of brakes for BMX shouldn’t be alive too much longer before we get another upgrade.
I have a great interest in nostalgia and history. Old cars, equipment and buildings that have sat motionless and sealed up for decades speak to me in a way. Perhaps spruce up the old dividing head with a little cleaning and polishing and display it in the lobby or meeting room. Anyhow, thanks for all the years of your products. At 50 I’m building yet another BMX. This time a Chromoly cruiser for racing. Elite Hubs, no-boss race cranks and a spline drive Profile sprocket are my choice. Quality and strength!
So I got a redline monster back wheel when I put my hub guard locking nut on the driver side when I tighten it at all it puts to much pressure on my driver and won’t spin but on your video it shows you putting it on then you said to tighten it what may I be doing wrong for mine not to work right
So stoked I just managed to get some black 175s in australia. Wild there is no stock in possibly the most iconic sort after cranks ever made. I almost, allllllllmost had to buy some odyssey
Thanks for the update. I'm sure a lot of people have been asking about this. Chrome Profile cranks are a classic and timeless component of quality bmx bikes, and definitely worth the wait.
So easy to forget how much effort goes into products of this quality that allow us to just head out and ride with confidence (and style!) Thanks Matt and all the Profile team!
Chrome is getting harder and harder to find in general. I'm waiting on some 170mm Elite cranks in chrome. I may try the Elite ALs while I wait. Thanks for the update!
I am looking for a 160mm chrome race crank and an internal euro 68mm bottom bracket. Some shops are saying pre-order. Do you have any in production? How long is likely to be before they reach the stores?
Just uploaded a new video this morning regarding our crank production and chroming. Considering we don't do a ton of 160mm, that size in chrome will be quite some time. I don't have a definitive ETA, sorry!
😂 Seeing Scott so many years later. Same same. We used to sit next to each other in Art class and draw morbid shit. Scott’s made a name for himself in Tampa w his business and creativity, seeing this is no surprise. Hats off to Scott 🤙🏼
Ha, the old warehouse spots were mentioned. Those were fun spots. The empty 84 lumber one, someone took me to. It was run down. Me and my homie James cleaned it up, tore down shelves , built the bank to wall, and a mediocre box jump. Good times🍻
