It's like the toys from our childhood, but now they're digital so we can easily hide them from other adults, so nobody notices we're still playing with them.
really hope they redo the hazmat suit to work like a one piece suit similar to the ody you start with its a very nice suit but you cant even mount medical items to it nor a backpack so it is unironically useless for what you would think it would be good for (plus the fact its not space proof)
just brought in about 400 scu salvage material and realize that now getting it off the reclaimer is a royal PITA...thanks CIG.....huge salvage area...tiny elevator that u have to thread scu boxes onto and spend an hour doing it...ffs i give up
@@johni6138 yeah, it was broken unintentionally. But you can only sell boxes that are on the grid. Any boxes that are not on the grid must be moved onto the grid to sell. So selling 240SCU now requires two trips to hangar/TDD
Auto unload option should be available at the hangar console. So, you could store goods without having to move to the TDD. Then sell all when needed. Otherwise, there's no point for having such a large capacity in your hangar.
I doubt they'd add more auto-unload functionality when the existing one is a placeholder anyway. Wouldn't add a huge amount of value IMO, you have to go to TDD either way so might as well just auto unload there.
wow more mundane gameplay. Because people definitely want to spend an hour box jockeying back and forth to the Freight Elevator. What a stupid idea adding this. First they nerf CM prices then this shit. Reclaimer game loop is ruined. Hey @TiJayEye, you forgot to show the extra 2 minutes of trying to fit that box in the tiny door lol
there is a door on the salvage hold deck right underneath the shute (that says salvage lift above it) in the back of the processing deck where you can dump the boxes right out of the ship without using the elevator but not sure if 16scu containers fit or not. Ultimately whenever they do the reclaimer rework they talked about a while ago they really should consider just adding a big ramp in the rear and some roof/rail mounted remote tractor beams or a Constellation style cargogrid that doubles as a lift to make unloading a lot easier.
When i think about the comparable time of mining/refining/hauling and risk, it's not so bad. Risk with salvaging is minimalised from the belt to Orison and no hauling required. Imo the elevator should be larger. Thanks for the up
@@DeathStickDit is functional if you open from the cockpit. Won’t fit containers over 4scu though so it takes a while to unload but it’s a lot less work and stress than putting 16scu boxes on the elevator. Particularly if you use an Atls, it’s very fast to chuck them out
Extra steps for group play. Really tempted to get the upgrade, but after seeing a video of the reclaimer in 3.24, its not worth it riding solo. Thank you for sharing this @TiJayEye.
@@TiJayEye I tested it today and for me it is not completly broken. I can auto unload the cargo on the grid without any problems. If i put in loose cargo also, i can sell the cargo on the grid, go back to my reclaimer and put the loose cargo on the grid and then auto unload the cargo on the grid again. I am usually selling on grim hex, so it doesn't take much time to switch between admins and my hangar. For me it feels much easier then trying to get everything on the cargo elevator or handle all the 4 SCU boxes to push them out of the small door in the back.
I have a question if thats ok, as ive not played SC in awhile. I would salvage with my Reclaimer and then land, then I'd go to trading Division and sell my salvage. Do I now have to unload the items into the cargo bay in the personal hangar to then sell my salvage?
So I get that they are encouraging group play with this, however it's still not worth hiring unless you like scraping by. They need to increase payout for construction materials.
This mod and the music were awesome! 🖒 Just one question though, how did you guys switch the colors of the menu folders to red? My bro and I have a customized version of Goldeneye and changing the menu folder colors is the only thing we need to do. If you could tell us which file in the GE Editor to tweak or if there's a way to adjust the colors from the inside options, that would be awesome!
Part of me wants to say its toy like, but other thinks its really very future corporate, like their trying to make their company look colourful and happy while... doing future corprate things.
@@TiJayEye Thanks, I probably will one of these days. Been fighting some game breaking bugs so haven't been able to do a whole lot these past days. I can confirm the mk1 not having an "Open Exterior" physical button, and I'm guessing no way to open the hatch to store a box. Accessing cargo through the wheel menu just opens an inventory window. Guess the hatch must be mk2 exclusive.
@@asheliagaming try the “open all doors” hot key in control options too, can’t remember what it is off the top of my head. But yeah I don’t have a mk1 with cargo hold so honestly not sure if it works
