Aw man, that would’ve been a dream to work on that new Flip film. Suppose it’s long been finished at this point, huh? Well thanks a lot for putting this little promo / update video. I always wonder about these restorations. I was hoping it wasn’t just an “HD version of what was released on DVD 20 years ago” or something. Apparently it’s much more, and I’ll be purchasing the Flip Blu-ray. I try to support these restored cartoon releases here and there, and videos like this go a long way toward helping me make my purchases. I really love seeing how these films are restored, possibly even more than the end product, heh. (But of course I do watch the cartoons for their own merits.) Anyway, not sure if this channel is a good resource to get my restoration kicks, but I’ll look around and see what else there is. I’d like a short video or even paragraph about each Thunderbean release… on the website it kinda doesn’t tell me much about what was done or the sources used to achieve the final image… but good stuff, I have a few purchases to make!
Two color Technicolor was not a "strip" process. It never was. And for cartoons there was no two negative original camera negative. The term is "Two color Technicolor."
0:25 Looks a lot like the opening scene from the Fleischer Color Classic cartoon "Hawaiian Birds", released around the same time 0:38 How we're the animators able to get away with that scene in the new Hayes Code era?
@@unitedfilmationsinc4385 Sadly, you can only watch it for three days, and its 10 dollars. More sadness, its not there. However, not all hope is lost! Theres oswald rarities in there. First, a 1950s TV Print of Great Guns! And more TV Prints of universal and disney shorts. If i can find nutty notes, I could.
