@@PenumbraPlays Actually, this was a precursor to MS. When Irem went under, the team that made this game went on to form Nasca, which would make the beloved franchise.
if u leave the audio in default then the ingame sound doesn't work u can't hear anything , its a very big issue I checked I on steam some players went through the same issue, any tips?
Although I didn't have issues with sound or music, here is what I would suggest. In the "BinaryDomainConfiguration.exe", go to the "Audio Configuration" tab. Under the "Audio Adapter" setting, you may need to pick either "Default", or your actual sound device. Make sure the "Volume Slider" is set to "100". You may also need to adjust the "Input Audio Adapter" setting. You might try disabling your microphone directly if you also use one. Since this game has a "Voice Recognition" system built in, it could be causing a conflict. If audio works in other games fine for you, then you know it is a Binary Domain specific issue. The "BinaryDomainConfiguration.exe" is really the only place to adjust the game settings. Aside from the few options when you are actually in the game playing. I hope that helps and that you figure out a solution.
Another thing you should check that is simple but a possible solution. While the game is running check your "Volume Mixer" in Windows. Make sure the "Binary Domain" slider is not set to "0" or "Muted".
I think maybe you’re asking me how did I get Bobby to follow me from room to room? Pathing may be different than the original game because I’m using the “Deluxe” mod. I honestly don’t remember if I picked “Original” pathing or “Mod Pathing” when I patched the game. I believe the mod talks about it in the read me file.
Correction... It's in the "Clock Tower Deluxe - List of changes.xlsx" when you download the ".zip" That's where it talks about the pathing option and lists all the modifications to the original game.
@RobertMuldooJP Yes, I tend to talk softly as you mentioned. If it sounds good on your laptop then that should be ok. Are you using headphones on the laptop or just the laptop speakers?
Your narration audio is wayyyyy too low. You should be mastering your audio at 14 lufs. That is RU-vid’s reference level. I like your insight and the information that you’re trying to provide
@johnlisa418 Yes, I’m aware of my voice audio being low, it will be better in future videos. Right now I’m releasing videos I’ve already recorded on a schedule. So it will take some time for the adjustment to catch up to current releases.
@@PenumbraPlaysNo problem. I really like the insight and I like to support people honestly giving it a go. I really was trying to be helpful, I’m glad you took it well. I hope your channel grows.
@@PenumbraPlays yes my friend ! , game is playable now , but for game's more gigabyte , peoples more people dont play this game , i think , sadly.. but i liked game , i love asian games !

So I saw your comment on my mod for The Mans Best friend on steam. You said that the dog was facing the wrong way in the back on the floor, do you know which truck it is?
Ok, so it's all trucks for me that the mod works on. As well as it being all dogs, except German Boxer (Back). When they are on the passenger seat or on the bed they are fine. Here is a screenshot example... drive.google.com/file/d/14TSHlUkUPzJTiserBjTU3TCZAHsQv5hs/view?usp=sharing
Ok cool, thanks for letting me know I will try and work on the position of the dogs on the back so that they are facing the right way. It may take some time to fix.
Hey everyone, just wanted to thank you guys for making this my first video with 1,000 views. Thank you all for your interest and there are plenty more games to come. - Penumbra
Hilarious reminder: Every time you see "WINNERS DON'T DO DRUGS" William Sessions Jr, former FBI director went into the private sector after being forced out of the FBI. He went back to his law roots, where he.. um.. had a pretty major client. As in he represented Semion Mogilevitch, a former member of the FBI's Most Wanted list. Dude was down with Putin in a big way. But don't do drugs!
I disagree. I mastered this game as a pre-teen in the arcade. This game play was bad though, I would have used much more jumping slashes and I would have taken Gilius, he is more powerful.
In defense of my gameplay, I'm not good at Golden Axe, and never claimed to be. I'm just showcasing the games, not my skills. Yes, jumping slashes are OP, but I didn't want to do jumping slashes over and over. I also picked Tyris because I wanted to play the female, I wasn't prioritizing power.
Also to mention about the ink ribbon misprint, it's seems to have been concluded to be an added "i" to the word royal, though at is native resolution it's hard to distinguish I guess
That makes sense with the Ink Ribbon. I just noticed one time and thought it was odd they let that slip in. Ink Ribbons being a common and recognizable item in RE. Also odd that no mod has been created to fix it.
@PenumbraPlays well I should've been more specific, it seems two be concluded as in the fan community has come to that conclusion and I saw what looked to be an upscaled resolution shot of the ink ribbon but if it's just the fan base claiming it I don't necessarily consider that conclusive
To this day I still consider REmake one of the most beautiful games ever developed, Capcom continuing with pre rendered backgrounds in the remake I feel was a wise decision. Also I absolutely do not enjoy playing Chris and besides the overall difficulty I can't stand the 2 less invebtory slots, I have only completed the PS1 directors cut with Chris but after have always played Jill in both REmake and RE ds (ps1 port)
I prefer Jill as well for many reasons. Chris was ok but I had also never played through as him. I generally don’t like Chris as a character. I think Chris is his best version in this game though. I was surprised his playthrough took less videos.
Just out of curiosity do you emulate NES & SNES on PC a lot? Because I have never really tried PC emulation for the pre 5th gen games since the warly 2000s when the emulators we tried werent great. With PS1 obscure titles and JP only releases I really got into emulating that cobsole ob PC back 8 or so years, Saturn I would love to explore through a competent emulator of it on PC
Yes, I mess with Arcade/NES/SNES/Genesis/PS1/PS2/TG16/NDS/GBA and the SCUMMVM “more of a front-end interface than an emulator” for like Sierra stuff. Older systems tend to have older emulators but they work good and are stable, configured properly of course. I actually played Silent Hill 1 on the channel through a pretty new emulator called Duckstation. Which I recommend over like ePSXe. It made Silent Hill 1 look and play really nice. I have actually never played a Saturn game. I too would like to see its library of games at some point. I’m sure there is an emulator out there for it.
@PenumbraPlays yeah there are Saturn emulators available but the emulation can range from ok to questionable depending on specific titles. One of my favorite survival horror games that was exclusive to Saturn within console market is Enemy Zero, which is abstractly tied to the D series
@@PenumbraPlays so its not a sequel or any connected storyline to D, but in some abstract, irreverent way its in the D universe, Kenji Eno has said. Its a sci-fi survival horror game set place on a large human piloted space craft with a violent and aggressive alien run amuck, Alien film? But the main character is somehow the same as Laura, Eno has said. But if you are a fan of 90s survival horror, this game is a must, both historically and for entertainment. I insist you should at least check out a retrospective or some gameplay content of the title on YT. Its more game mechanic wise like a classic Adventure game. But the gory and horrific cutscenes for the time were terrifying when I played it with my dad cuz we would sometimes rent the Saturn system on the weekend, I only had the PS1 and N64 back during the 5th generation
This is a game I have never completed though always gong back to it for years. Its great that your commentary has so many indepth anecdotes regarding the developer
I really love this series, everything is just really appealing and interesting. Music, setting, characters, it's got it all. Thank you for the kind words and interest in the commentary.
Ah, you do have Black Cauldron. I always play the Amiga version. Better sound if I recall correctly, and joystick and mouse support. I started on Sierra games on the Amiga though, so that's what I'm partial to. I'm pretty sure the older ones were superior to the DOS versions. They always had mouse support at least. I'm not so sure how important that is when running it through ScummVM, but I always go for the Amiga version anyway for nostalgia's sake.
Yes, I have Black Cauldron. I think I’ve played the game a couple of times in my life, it’s a classic. Never played the Amiga version as I don’t have experience with the system. Nothing against the Amiga, I know it has good versions of games.
@@PenumbraPlays At the time the Amiga was really ahead of the game. It had nice sound, lots of colors, multitasking, voice capability, a mouse.... most PC users were still on green monochrome monitors. I remember my school got a bunch of the original Macintoshes in, and I just couldn't understand what was special about them. Everyone was blown away, but I didn't see anything there that my Amiga didn't do, bigger, better, in color, with more than one mouse button... Nobody really knew what an Amiga was though so they just looked confused. Amiga wasn't that mainstream in the US, it seems. I was a kid, so I didn't really know. Anyway, I liked my Amiga, I guess that's all I truly have to say there. My dad wanted to get rid of it when we were totally over to the PC world, and on Pentiums and stuff, but I made him let me set it up in the basement, and got plenty of years of use out of that thing. I stopped using it when the keyboard quit working and I didn't know how to get a new one at the time. Pre-ebay.
Space Quest rocks your cock off. My problem with your video isn't your talking speed, it's that it's way way way too quiet. I have everything cranked up and am straining to hear you. Play more Sierra games, for sure. Black Cauldron is one of my favorites. Branching story, multiple endings... good stuff.
I have recently readjusted my mic position since recording this game. Hopefully, that will make some difference in future games. I tested my own video just now, I have my headset volume at 100% and the RU-vid video volume at around 70%-75%. If you replicate that on your headset is it hearable? Yeah, Black Cauldron is a good one and on my list.
@@PenumbraPlays I'm not using a headset, I have sound going through a TV. I have the TV at like double the volume it's normally at and the PC is maxed. RU-vid volume is maxed. Other videos are blaringly loud at this volume.
I do understand what you're saying. I am going by consistent dB "Decibel" ranges in each video. Generally, I aim for -10db for voice/commentary and -20db to -25db for game music/sounds. However, I play, record, and edit my videos using headphones as my baseline. All with the idea in mind that I would rather you have to turn me up than turn me down because my audio volume blows you out of the house. I apologies regardless and I hope that you can still hear even if you have to turn me up. Just know that all of this is a work in progress and ever changing. As mentioned before, I have since made mic adjustments but I am not sure in which game now they take effect, as I have a lot of videos already recorded and scheduled for release.
I was just now looking at my volume meters in editing on some videos. I do indeed have my levels correct as far as how high the volume can go. It doesn't mean my speaking voice is hitting those levels though. It has more to do with me just not talking loud enough, as I am soft-spoken in general. I put a post in the Community tab about this if you're interested. It's really just for everyone else who doesn't read our comment. [ Audio Post ] - tinyurl.com/ypndwfg5 At any rate, thank you for the feedback, it's appreciated.
Thanks for your interest in my videos and the comments. Getting stuck for weeks on a puzzle solution. Realizing, you missed an item pick-up and the game just lets you keep going.
I played through this whole game in '86 or '87.. still remember a lot of things pretty well, surprisingly, like which droid and space ship you're supposed to buy... though I remember SQ 3, 4, and 5 being a lot better.
SQ I is for sure the least interesting when compared to the sequels. They did steadily improve with each release. I'm partial to the original SQ I - III. Thanks for your interest. :)
@@PenumbraPlays 3 was pretty epic, a huge step up from 1 and 2. 4 I just really loved what they did with the time traveling stuff jumping between past and future games, I thought that was pretty cool and inventive. and 5 continued the sharp upward trend in terms of graphics, story, etc, and I liked getting to captain your own ship, even if it was a garbage scow. I honestly can't even remember if I played through 6 or not.
@@nooneofconsequence1251 Yeah, 3 was epic for sure and 6 is a little bit of a blur to me as well. I liked the narrator voice they used in the later games as well.
