I play and commentate video games. I like putting up blind playthroughs and re-plays of games that I love. My preferred games are Zelda, Super Metroid, Musou, platformers, adventure, and pretty much anything that looks, sounds, or is vibecore. I try to keep things positive and clean for the good people who come to my channel.
There’s an enemy you missed. It’s when you fight the X-yux. Here’s a hint: let it survive a turn. If you don’t do this and you complete the chapter, you’ll have to dig it up in Frankly’s trash can.
you are a very careful driver, thats good but you need to be more like a speedrunner the audio balancing was a little bad in this one. hard to hear you sometimes.
lol. i think i got into "training for the cert test" more than competitive mode. I'm new to recording video game content, but it sometimes seems like every game has completely different audio settings. I don't know why the console isn't a normalizing factor.
For the "impossible Climb" quest you can actually use a remnance next to the hermit then call back the prince once you get the third bell. It's weird because the game doesn't allow this trick with the xerxes coins but does with the bells. Also, I just notice it wasn't in yours but in the ps5 version (the one I played) near the end of the game you gain the ability to teleport from one wak-wak tree to the others which makes things really easy for treasuring (If you inspect the wak-wak trees there is a new line that reads "travel"). To be honest, I did the same as you and tried to grab as many treasures as possible asap so the ability was less useful to me. To answer one of your questions about the Prince of Persia series, the OG Prince of Persia was a side scroller although I doubt it was a Medroidvania mainly because I think it was released before Medroid. The other PoPs were 3rd person view games and I played them all so when I bought this game I was not expecting a Medroidvania and it was my first. I 100%ed the game anyway and I'm happy you did too.
I think this one was perfect for my first PoP game. Looking forward to seeing what the just announced Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake looks like when it comes out.
You made that first puzzle harder that it should have been because you forgot that among those 3 phases of 28 seconds each, you can use a remnant prince in one phase then recall the prince in another phase as the game showed you in the other same type of puzzle. You were trying to do it all in one phase. What you can do : Phase 1 : Go down, stay on/activate each mechanism for 3s from left to right then make a remnance at the bottom right. Phase 2 : Go up, stay on/activate each mechanism for 3s from left to right then call back the prince at the bottom right, move to the newest bottom right in the next room to stand on the mechanism. Phase 3 : Go straight ahead and get the treasure.
I had a reallllly tough time with the last one in the game! I had to draw it out on paper to wrap my brain around it, but this game's puzzles were incredibly fun!
The look and feel of the game is pretty good. The combat system feels rich and the combat itself feels punishing (not a bad thing). I'm going to play through the demo a second time to explore the edges of what they gave us, but playing straight through the demo was very short (about an hour). It's kinda cool that your progress in the demo will roll over into the main game when it launches.
I'm going to be streaming some retro titles on weekends from now on. I started Final Fantasy this weekend and we'll probably continue with the game next weekend. This video cut off abruptly when my stream randomly died on me. I noticed it and just saved the game, so you didn't miss anything important!
