A place to post my creative sources. My visions to become a reality. I have been able to dream again and I can't wait for the sun to shine. If I can do it, we all can. Please write me and let me know what you think. I can't express how important it is to cling to real love.. I wanted to do so much more with being a performer and now I can. Life should be about your heart and love not the stuff. Some people cling to the stuff and forget about the heart. The heart is where all the good comes from, have faith, believe! The blood will run blue.
I was lucky being in Tulsa for these times. I played in bands with Dick Sims and Jamie Oldaker. A long time ago. I’m not sure about George Terry and Yvonne but Marcie is still with us
Thanks a million for this! The Domino's were my favorite band of all time. Close enough. To see Carl playing was thrilling for me. Eric is in great form and "Blackie" sounds great. I saw these guys live in 1976 and they killed it. Thanks!
Great performances all around here! Kitty i really appreciated your write-up, nicely done! And yes George is excellent - love the slide playing, really lifts the song up.
I saw this group on a couple of different shows. EC should get more credit for putting the talent together and writing the music. I want to say this was after the 461 Ocean Blvd album. An underrated effort that got bad reviews. Even though I haven't gotten over the breakup of Cream or Derek and the Dominoes, I remain a staunch fan of Eric Clapton. The critics have been given way too much airplay. Not all guitar players end up playing metal.
Is the back up singer, with the first solo, the actress , singer that played in motion picture, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR? YVETTE,? , HER name escapes me but damn sure looks and sounds like her!
Crossroads 07 in Chicago, Clapton laid the crowd to waste with this! Doyle and Derek were totally in a groove, basically pushing Eric to pull out all the stops! As he should ❤
