From the comments featured, I think I am older and much older than those who said them. In my twenties I was called "geriatric". But for me there were many occasions that indicated my age, but one in particular quite recently in the supermarket, when a young mother directed her youngster to make way to let the "Old man!" through. for me Transistor Radios were modern, and the rest was still science fiction. And yes TV was monocolour - and we had a party-line, on a crank handle wooden cased wall phone. To see my youth, I need to visit museums - maybe I should be an exhibit.
