@@mbbbb upon closer inspection…my issue might be due to a loose intake on the turbo inlet. 🥴 Replace your spark plugs while installing the intake. It requires you to remove the intake, so you might as well do it while you’re there.
@eyeout get an protune/etune with ethanol blend brother it will be a lot different. I only have cobb AP with E30 OTS from drunkmann tuning and it's a night and day difference
New to modding my 2018 WRX. Thought Subispeed had cheated me by sending the SF intake instead of the Big SF. Thanks for clearing up the difference. All the other install videos I've seen are for the Big SF.
Cobb pulled quite a bit of products to meet EPA regulations; hence, the NextGen package offer. Currently, it meets the CARB Executive Order for all 50 states. I believe most consumers look into Grimmspeed or other providers to upgrade their J-pipe/turboback.
Yup. This is NexGen. It leaves the J pipe out of it. I will get an Invidia R400 exhaust with a Invidia J Pipe and a pro tune eventually. The car is sitting about 270 Whp as it stands, per Cobbs number. The world of tuning is changing. I don’t even know what I’d call it…stage 2+2?
I'm sitting on a pro-tune stage 1+ right now. After watching this, I'm definitely pushing for the nextgen stage 2 + IAG AoS this summer. Possibly forged internals first before turboback upgrade to be on the safe side. It really helps watching/hearing someone else's input. I recently got a walnut shell blasting done and it made a world of difference. The carbon deposit build-up was causing a lot of knock and DAM drops. @@eyeout
@@MeiKongPWMI realized I was getting knock from a bad gas station. Took me 3 tanks of gas to clear up that issue. Will probably need a walnut blasting someday soon.

I’d buy the accessport. I just ordered all the parts to go stage 2+ nexgen. I’ll use the off the shelf map until I get a J pipe and cat back with a pro tune. That way, when I need to pass smog I can go back to the stock exhaust and have the pro tune map on the accessport for later. Does he have proof of the pro tune? If not…I’d flash it to the Cobb stage 1 plus map.
@@colinmusgrave do a half way down acceleration in 2nd or 3rd gear. Any hesitations means it has an intake but no tune. Any smell when starting up like lean or rich is another clue.
I wanted to get the big SF for a good while now. In terms of sound spooling up and the bypass valve.. Is the big SF louder? being one long piece of intake piping, compared to the small sections combined with silicone?
Debating whether to go with this new SF intake. I had the Big SF and I would get a constant check engine light. Trying to see if all those issues are resolved
I haven’t had any stuttering or performance issues. The Big SF had issues. If you were to try and order a Big SF they would tell you that the SF is its replacement and they don’t sell the big anymore. In my opinion, if you own a big SF they should send you this one as a recall. Make sure you install the correct map or you will have issues.
i used to have the big sf intake too, it was awful had constant issues with fitment and vibration and messing up the maf sensor. I went with grimmspeed and just so much more straight forward and clean. This newer version looks great tho i wouldve totally went with this one
I have had mine for 4 years I just did the 100 hour oil change. It has a slight surge. I'll check the jet and clean it. I only use 87 alcohol free Marine gas with stabil. I run it once a month for 15 minutes. I primarily use it to run my 110v welders, 50a plasma cutter, and pressure washer.
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed. Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control). Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses. Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because he was already dead.
The first burst was at his waist which you hit the first shot but it was way too low to kill in one or two shots and you might of hit another but then it was just a spray fest when he went behind the bush in which you probably didn't hit shit for most of it because he could've just crouched or strafed out of the way just or you probably even skimmed his arms or legs like once or twice then you got a kill shot and he died. and before someone says you can't survive that many shots in squad in rare instances I have taken like 4-5 shots from 7.62 and was still standing. I'm not saying skill issue because it was in the moment but if you just placed your first shots higher you would've killed them.
It does appear that way on a phone at first glance. On my monitor, I could actually see him move left to right behind the bush. If you slow the video down and zoom in 5x you can see it. I agree. Had I shot him a little higher I may have had a better chance at ending the fight before it was a fight. I’m also not saying the game is broken. It just might need a little tweaking with regards to the CQB.
Really? I’ve made a lot of videos with different squad game play. Seems like this one became popular because people are searching for “Squad Combat Overhaul”. 1,200 of the 1,280 views came from people searching something like that. The videos where I’m praising the game and having fun got like 20-40 views. Maybe that’s what you like to consume…complaints.

Biggest skill issue I have ever seen, number 1 you took way to long to shoot. If you watch it back your reticle was on his elbow and that's being nice, then he dissapears into the bushes becoming a spray fest, learn stam management and shotplacement. LMG punch yes big issue, vehicles yes big issue, you not being able to hit shots because your aim is low-key as, absolutley your problem
I didn’t shoot because the ICO would have made it very unlikely to land shots from walking. I did exactly what OWI designed into the game. I stopped, took a knee, and put my red dot on the enemy. Must be my fault.🤣 I did end up killing him.
If you watched in on your phone then he’s not visible. If you zoom in or watch it on a 32 inch curved 165hz monitor, you can see his head going left to right.
I think all you wildly underestimate how hard it is to effectively aim in a combat situation. None of you have ever been in one, and are saying it’s unrealistic and you would have “popped that guy” you wouldn’t have been able to pick up the weapon as much as shoot a guy in the back while in a combat zone.
I guess you missed the comment where I explained that in real life I’ve qualified on an M16A2 iron sights, M16A4 RCO, and an M4 RCO. On each weapon system I’ve gotten 10/10 from the 500 yard line. @@eyeout Like I said, in a combat situation, or any stressful scenario where you have to use a firearm, you will not shoot the way you do in practice. It’s not realistic enough, tbh. You would never use a rifle that close because if you shoot them and they don’t die right away they can take control of your weapon faster than a pistol.
@@zackbagnar9702 I’ve actually fired a full auto weapon a couple of times bro.🤣 Trust me, you wouldn’t want to be 13 meters away from me even with the 7.62x39 AK. Full auto is used in some CQB situations, which is what I was prepared for while tracking this guy. I actually don’t mind a lot of the ICO, but the CQB is broken and it has everything to do with the deviation dots that come together at the bottom.
