How did you get the pin out where the shifter shaft connects into the transmission? I’ve had a difficult time due to how tight of a space there is to work without dropping the driveshaft. Did you remove all the 2 pins on the bracket first?
Do you think changing out cam gears can solve my issue with getting the code for intake side cam advanced? I’ve tried replacing sensors and solenoids and I know the timing isn’t off so I’m wondering if this is my issue🤦🏽♂️ you might have just helped me figure it out 26:01

You can do both sides but for what ever reason it seems like it’s always the exhaust cam gear that fails not the intake. Also to have cvvt adjustability on the intake will help with timing in the low end drive ability.I’ve been running on this set up now longer than the first two exhaust cam gears lasted. And everything has been great.
ive had this sitting in my room since december waiting for the snow to melt and couldnt find videos at the time so im super excited to see somones opinion !
knock sensor mod is basically attaching a ground cable lead off the engine block to connect to the sensor. it reduces false knock pick up from the sensor that is already sensitive. Bought uprev and after some afr tweaking making 196 now time for headers and exhuast.
Hi buddy, I know it's been a while since you posted this. I have a 2010 and I used a rubber grommet to deafen the knock sensor, I didn't know about this grounding technique though. Did you make 196whp with the uprev before headers and exhaust or is it crank hp?
@@bilko_4732 it's more for overall inconsistent driveability fixes, if you don't notice any lag off the highway or other oddities similar not worthwhile.
