Why do people hate on this? Is it VH from the 90s? no, but nothing is and nvr will be but it’s fun and still way better than almost anything out there now. Killer band. I went to a show and loved it and you couldn’t squeeze another person into the place
I was there, and it was an amazing show. You could feel the love. Great celebration. Thanks Sammy, Joe, Micheal, Jason. And All that made this possible for memory to last a lifetime
No filming is allowed during the concert.....any RU-vid videos uploaded of the show are immediately removed by Abba management in order to keep the mystique of the show......
Been on so many concerts, so WHY??? Sorry, but this is now so bad. Voice totally gone! Okey, you young guys, and advice: buy the three folk albums "Song from - Heavy - Stormwatch" and do some research, start searching for concerts here on yt approx 1973- 81. Dream of what it must been like back then.... The real stuff, this is so embarassing to see!
Unfortunately the vocals are quite bad throughout the 2024 tour. Was live in Letzigrund, but all youtube videos I have see from other venues seem to be the same...YOu can hardly hear Brian
I've seen Tull 8 times over many years, particularly in their heyday with the Anderson, Barre, Barlow, Evan and Hammond lineup. This is a pretty decent Tull cover band. They even found someone that looks a bit and sounds sorta-kinda like Ian and that's pretty cool too. I wish them well.
I don´t know what criticism with this concert has to do with narcism!? I really lack the psycho-pathological foresight. I don't want to go into the Collins, Banks and Rutherford era at all, but if you want to experience a worthy treatment of the genesis legacy, you should listen to Steve Hackett´s Genesis Revisited seconds out. This is music in perfection, in a way not even the original could achieve. In contrast, this seems like the performance of a high school band and sorry, this has nothing to do with narcism.
It would be an interesting experiment to see if his singing would improve if he lost that unhealthy "gut"..."don't wanna be a Fat Man" !!! But I still love Jethro Tull ...
Used to work at Southwold Pier. Quit just a couple months ago. The pier was brought by new owners a while back. And with the changes they've been making, they've not exactly been making life easy for us old staff. One of them is really horrible and gave me a hard time. I mostly worked in one of the two gift shops, Seaweed & Salt, which is the one at the end of the pier with the spire on top. I worked in that shop cuz I was more comfortable there. The other shop, Treasure Chest, was busier and more demanding, particularly with the ice cream. But one of the new managers completely disregarded all that, kept shoving me in Treasure Chest and refused to let me go back to Seaweed & Salt. All cuz she wants it covered by female staff only. And they'd stopped doing discounts for staff and customers. So I handed my notice in and left. Was really sad to leave after 6 years and also really angry. Still am.
I love Genesis … and I feel sorry for the misguided narcissists who feel the need to criticize them. That band has given us so much depth of joy and passion. The result is not measured by a weak voice or a poor sound mix … the reward is in the songs and in the connection.
Agreed. Remember the power/ energy/ drive from the late 70`s?? Yes we all get old and things never stay the same, but Tull without acoustic guitars; dramatic dynamics and a powerful lead vocalist are nothing.
Old age gets us all. I saw him perform last in 2000 and he was totally on his game and the band was all there. Met him before and after the show. Of course, totally brilliant and intelligent man, his greatest music some of the best ever made and perfectly performed.
In his prime, early 70s his voice was fantastic. Now he stains for every note. Time to either retire or hire a singer and just be an instrumentalist in the band

Who says no flutes I. Rock n roll music? Most say aqualung was his best song I say locomotive breath is the best. I can't get good volume on this video. There are much better versions on RU-vid.
I've been blessed to see 8 different tours, starting in 74.... Glad I grew up with this group's mastery... I'm 66,and still rocking, had a stroke this past yr, it fucked my dancing up, but I'm determined to dance again, bc my spirit never ages, lol... ROCK ON fellow senior hippies✌️💜😇
Too Old to Rock & Roll . . . perhaps this iteration of Jethro Tull is musicians-in-training? I know Maynard Ferguson's later bands were his students . . . . . . I was thinking on a few Tull concerts, and the Moody Blues song, 'In Search of the Lost Chord' came to mind. Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull knew that 'chord' and played it to the hilt.
