The 990 means biz! I love it. I am going to buy one. I’m also gunna customize the shit outta it keeping it flashy and respectable by all. It’s a beautiful truck, I just wish you could customize the blue stitching color it comes with. Why they didn’t use RED is beyond me! Blue is not even in their logo! WTF?

Nissan would have sold more Titan XDs if they had made 2 changes: 1. Larger fuel tank (36gal min). 26 gal fuel tank is inadequate especially when towing. 2. Increase payload by 500lbs. The diesel was especially payload constrained by a low payload, lower than most 1/2 tons.

I tried to look up the price but it is unavailable. You have to build it out online and then request a quote. I don't understand why they can't just put a price.

My husband works for the main Bristol plant. I would like to know how you sleep at night treating your employees the way you do! Ever stop and think, hmm, why do we have such a high turnover rate? It's because you treat your employees like garbage. He has been working there for over three years. You can't even bother to have clear communication. we're just peons too you obviously. I hope this whole company goes out of business due to the poor quality you produce. We can all starve together!

So, 5 yrs later this 2.7 twin volute I-4 now referred to as turbomax & producing 430 ft-lb torque (compared to 383 ft-lb torque of 5.3 V-8) has proved so successful, that it is the sole engine in Colorado, & Canyon. Also, a very similar 2.5 liter version has been developed for Traverse, Enclave, & Acadia. Ford has been producing 2.7 ecoboost V-6 twin turbo for nearly 10 yrs. Ram retired their 5.7 V-8 in half ton trucks, replaced by 3.0 I-6 twin turbo hurricane. Seems as though this is the design of the future. 2024 Silverado & Sierra w/ turbomax get a 5 yr/100,000 mile drivetrain warranty compared to 60,000 mile for 5.3 V-8. The engineering of a turbomax (like a duramax diesel) is how small displacement w/ turbo outguns V8. Forged bottom end, spincast nodular iron cylinders, pistons w/ iron carrier cast into them that carry the piston rings, it's a diesel w/ spark plugs that runs on 87 octane - 25% less expensive fuel & no def.

For all the people bashing this system...try memorizing all the phone numbers in your phone contacts. Then delete your phone contacts and dial manually each phone number each time you want to call someone. I dont care how good your memory is, and how fast your fingers are, that will get old fast. Leave your pride out the window and accept change for efficiency. Work smarter not harder. Dont be the cowboy that rode his horse and refused to drive a car. If everyone thought like all you haters, we would all still be using rotary phones. Some of you dont even know whay a rotary phone is. Its the future boys...

How'd you connect the trailer cam to the Ford screen/button?? I've been told by 3 different sources (1 being a Ford service tech at Ford) that aftermarket backup cams for trailers cannot be connected to the existing Ford screen, and secondary screens are necessary.

Did you see their STUPID hands free driving commercial. Any company who promotes hands free driving is NOT the company you want to deal with!! Check out the RAM or SILVERADO Trucks! Look at all the accidents and deaths from people relying on Teslas to drive on their own. When did people become so foolish and believe their "BS"

Good review! I got a Lightning last December and it’s a blast! With the range estimate, the computer will calculate that off of how you have been driving it recently for a more accurate estimate. You can reset it. If you have been driving on the highway over 70 mph, is it below 40F, are you using high heating (AC is much better), did you accelerate a lot (it’s really fun!) all will effect the range “guessometer”. Don’t use it. Go off the miles/kw ratio and do some quick math on how many kw the battery is. Ratio x kw battery size. That’s your miles left. Around town, under 60mph, no hvac and I’ll get over 250 mile with a standard range 98kw battery. Also if you are getting an EV, I highly recommend getting a level 2 charger installed at home. It is a game changer. We charge overnight and a full “tank” every morning. Like charging you phone while sleeping. The fast charger network sucks right now. EA is not very good. Once the Tesla network becomes available, it won’t matter. They have the best EV charging network like Verizon had the cell network in 2011. Everyone, including big gas station companies, are playing catch up and quickly. In 2-5 years, it will be like the cell network now. Also look into bidirectional charging. A big big factor with this truck is it not only has a big battery pack but it can power my house with its 240 volt bed outlet to a generator hookup on the house. Even the 120 outlets help in an emergency, it saved my basement by powering my sump pump after a power outage. With a bidirectional charger, I can feed back into the grid. If I’m home during a heat wave, it’s possible to make $ from to power company during peak hours and charge up overnight. This is the future, it’s amazing. We’re planning on getting solar soon to have zero power bill for home and truck power (we charge at home 95% of the time).

The estimated range is based on driving conditions, how you drive etc., not what kind of charger you use. If you do lots of highway driving it might show 270-280 miles while slower side roads could show 320-340 miles. Same as the gas model, range will vary.

Good video. I’ve never taken my EV’s off road so that was fun to watch. FYI, If you want to go 320 miles on a full charge you will need to keep the speed below 65 mph. It’s just more fun to drive faster even if you have to stop to charge more often. It’s best to pull into a charging stop at about 10% and charge to just 80% state of charge .
