this is pismo beach pier, looks like low tide and a very strong south swell by the looks of the angle. the current pushes north and towards shore so strong you cant barely paddle out. way easier to jump from the pier, just as long as the cops dont see, they will wait for you till your done surfing.

I'm not saying everyone should go there. I was simply stating that Tahiti, the waves are pretty cool! Also the waves in O'side are pretty awesome too! we had some 8 footers the other day!
