They completely wasted this IP. So many cool things they could've done with freddy. But I can tell you that the previous version wasn't much better. It did however feel more like playing freddy than the current version.

You mean darrius? That's true, but I don't think you should be using him in KL for omniman. I'd use darrius in casual matches to mess around a bit trying to go for max damage combos. My point with this video is to show the crazy damage this combo route gives him without darrius. I've seen people uploading videos like omg look how much damage omniman does with darrius spin kick, then they show off a 45% damage combo that costs your full kameo meter and even a bar of special meter to get about the same damage. This combo allows you to use more useful kameos like kung lao sub zero or even striker for more mix ups.
Why Soap and not Gaz? Gaz was the first to die in the original trilogy. And Soap is a more fun, iconic and badass character. As much of a waste to kill off as ghost was in OG MW2...
It really is, and these open combat missions felt like more like a budget cut than anything else. Let's just add some wide open empty spaces with generic objectives so we have to create less setpieces, save more time and add in lots of cutscenes to compensate.
The timing on that can be a bit strict. I usually don't use it online due to online connections. Just a standing 3 into slide will do well enough for online anyway so maybe you could try that instead
Oh and i forgot to mention, the combo you showed can do more damage if you connect the command grab whil the opponent is up blocking @@FishWithoutChips
@@LegoManCreationsandAnimations I know about the up blocking thing but that's so rare that it might happen once in your life and therefor isn't worth showing in my opinion. You'd need lightning fast reflexes to react to an upblock with an ex command grab that costs not one but two bars of meter. I don't even use the meterburn grab to begin with because it just costs too much but the option is there. Also about the tips. Back 2 might be Reiko's best move. If they block that it's like +7 or smth but it's a high. Spam that shit untill they start ducking it, then go for F1,2. 2,1 is i think +3 and back 4 his low sweep is + as well. Back 3 is also a great move with massive range that you can just throw out there at max range but try not to whiff it or do it too close. And his projectile is one of the, if not the best in the game. It tosses multiple shurikens so it cancels out armored wakeups, use this if you know your opponent wakes up a lot and a meterburned version completely cancels Haviks armor move if i'm not mistaking.
I think you just spam down when ending with a forward grab for sareena. If you wanna see how to do the brutalities you gotta press 1 in the movelist for some reason so that's either X or square. It'll show the inputs for the brutalities on the right side.
It's all about the the timing of calling in darrius and pressing back on your controller. A mistake i made at first is trying to be too fast, you don't have to be fast at all.

You're welcome! I still struggle with it in online. I can do it 10x in a row if i want without dropping it in practice but as soon as i hit the grab in online my brain just dies. It's improving by the match tho.
@@FishWithoutChips have you tried using the online input timing in practice mode in settings? That helps me a lot with that same problem, it gets me adjusted to input timing as if I were in a actual game with latency

I just do the input it says. However I think its bugged. I have this exact same issue with other brutalities. For example reiko's grab where you just have to spam one button doesn't work for me and also his parry doesn't work. Same with 2more geras brutalities. I remember MK11 having the same issue at launch, idk how they manage to mess this up again.
