My wife and I (Sasha & Angie) towing a renovated 1982 Fleetwood travel trailer with our 2014 Wrangler JKU sport! Traveling with our dogs Lucille the pitbull, Olliver the corgi and cats, Appa and Penelopea.
I heard before I did this, vehicle length x3, which would be 45ft on wrangler, I rounded up to 50ft, and that gave me room for redoing the grill once and the hood once (that’s about 8ft of wasted material). So if you need enough material to make mistakes and not worry I’d suggest 60ft.
I tried to say it as simply as possible in my description - "Are you a skilled DIYer? Medium. Not skilled? Very difficult." Patience, willing to mess up the material and start over... Ok with it taking 2 or 3 weeks if your doing it a few hours at a time?
They don’t in my opinion provide any special amount of dampening, although an improvement over stock. The 8 stage adjusters make a noticeable but not incredible** difference when on setting 1 vs 8. Definitely mid value for low price. If I was to do it again, I’d save the extra money for Fox or king. If only street driving, great value.
@@roamingjeeper9660oh thank you so much for letting me know! I didn’t know what shocks I should go with, fox or rough country. I probably will go with fox my first gut feeling, Thank you again for letting me know ur opinion on the shocks!
@@ghosty6783 Yah don’t let all the features of these rough country shocks make you think they are super nice. Looking back I’d rather have gotten entry level fox 2.0 mono-tubes or 2.0 fox non adjustable reservoirs.
