can transfers live with freshmen? i am gonna be 18 when I transfer this fall, and i was wondering if there is a way i can live with ppl my age (freshmen)
I just want to say keep your head up. No matter what you are going through, God will bring you through the storm. He has done it millions of times before. He created you. You are valid and worthy. He is the strength in our weakness. Boast about that weakness so that Christ’s strength May rest on you amen. He is also the light that guides you in darkness. Have faith, trust, and never lose sight of God for he is the way the truth and the life always. The only way to heaven amen. I know sometimes pain hurts, but know that if God woke you up this morning we love you and there is a reason for that pain. God is always good. Give your life to him and allow him to work through you. Al praise to God. Have a blessed day God will keep us together amen🙌🏽 for the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.(Against such things there is no law. He is the way the truth and the life our God and no one gets to the father but through him. He is the only way always amen. Blessed is he who died for our sins. He is good always.
oooh it depends on your major, but for me as a double major (env science and social ecology) i don't find it too challenging and have lots of time to have fun
@@jeejthepeej thank you for replaying I’m just trying to make up my mind as see what school is the best fit I heard choosing ur classes is very competitive is it true (also I wanna do a business major) and in case we would like to switch majors is it hard ?
@@jeejthepeej if you're still there... could you let me know if you took lots of AP classes in high school? can you survive at Irvine if you did not take lots of AP classes or top of your high school in terms of grades???
Hey so I’ve heard a lot about how uci is a “commuter school” or “dead”, and as a pretty outgoing and social person I’m worried it’ll be boring. Is it fun on weekends? And as for parties I’ve also heard there’s almost none, is this true? Lmao I just wanna make sure I make the right choice 💀
yess i was worried about that too since i am exactly the same haha but there will always be people here on the weekends so dont worry about that too much. As for parties I've been hearing that too lol, but I like to party every weekend and never felt like there weren't enough tbh
thank you :) you will have to rank your preferences from what i remember and i feel like you will get your first choice! i also recommend joining the facebook group for your year to find roommates and then request them
First off, great vid! My name is Danny and I've been kind of watching some videos from UCI students to get a feel for the school :) I'm really hoping I get accepted for Fall 2021 as a 4th-year transfer student. I have a few questions about UCI tho if you don't mind: 1. So far from what I've heard from other videos mesa is the move but, I'm not sure how housing works at UCI. Basically, I want to live with a friend in a double room like yours, would that be possible in mesa? 2. Also are classes pretty far from mesa? Would I need to commute to classes daily? I actually don't mind semi-long 20-minute walks for the cardio but I'm also not tryna be sore at the end of the week lol 3. Is the gym nice? I'm currently attending CSUMB and the gym is mad small. So when it's crowded equipment is impossible to get to and my workouts run for 2 hours sometimes. 4. Is there relatively healthy eating options at both dining halls? I love my not-so-healthy food but I'm tryna eat healthier fs after eating fried chicken and pizza basically every day of my freshman to junior year. Still, definitely gonna try them chicken sandwiches tho haha 5. Are the professors generally chill and easy to talk to? Is reaching out for help relatively easy? 6. Lastly, I'm %100 trying to get a job on campus if I get accepted, any tips? Thanks for your time in advance, maybe we'll run into each other in a class who knows.
Hi Danny! Sorry for the late reply hahaha 1.Yes you can live with a friend in a double in mesa or middle earth, mesa also has an option to live with 3 others! 2. yeah classes are around 20 mins from mesa, some even closer it depends... some people have bikes, scooters and skateboards that they use to get to class if you don't want to walk! 3. the gym is called the ARC and i actually really like it there, it's pretty big and has a pool, lots of gym equipment, a huge basketball court, and you can take different club sport classes there 4. yes they do have healthy options! i actually don't really like unhealthy foods but i was fine, there are also little cafes around campus known for healthy foods, and i like to go there often 5. yess i have talked to a few of my professors and they're all chill! they have office hours every week where they can help you, and also teacher assistants help as well, plus tutoring centers 6. i haven't gotten a job on campus, i have some friends who work on campus but most work at UTC! check it out, its the town center that's pretty much at UCI and there are lots of job opportunities there
I had a question. For your meal plan, does it include anything on campus? Like the coffee or jamba juice etc? Also are there a lot of vegan options there? I'm currently a vegetarian and I'm hoping to go vegan. I'm a rising senior, so I'm hoping I get into Uci.
our meal plan just includes the two dining halls! but every quarter you are also given $50 and you can use it anywhere :) Yes there are plenty of vegan options in the dining halls (every day) and other food places on campus. I hope you get in tooo good luck <3
@@jeejthepeej Hi! I had another question! I want to apply for nursing as my major at uci, but the acceptance rate for fall 2019 was 1.7%. So I was thinking of taking psychology and then switching majors to nursing sciences because the acceptance rate turns to 8% after i become a uci freshman Do you think I will be able to take psychology as a minor if I get into the nursing program?
plaza verde is really nice!! hmmm fall will be online so it depends on if you'd rather stay home and move in later, or move in for the fun of it.. either way i'm sure you will meet lots of people since there's a good amount of people not moving into their apartments fall quarter anymore <3
