Thank you! Beautiful! Made me cry. One reason is because my adopted son thought to send this to me . That on his free time, he cares enough to actually THINK of ME is a blessing to behold. He’s precious & so special. Too old for his young years. 😢But I love him & pray for him daily. I can see his future and once he’s ready to grab for his dreams he’ll soar to the heavens!!!❤
I had lost a very close friend to a suicide nearly a year ago. He loved the Yakuza series a lot, which I had introduced to him. When I listen to this song in particular, I think about him. He was near enough a brother to me. Miss you, Kyodai.
The moral of the story is unconditional hate vs unconditional love or forgiveness. Ebinas whole purpose in life was to hate. His father, the Yakuza and live to destroy and bring about as much suffering as possible. That's why his back tattoo was also a devil with a snake. The devil lives as a condemned being which only purpose is to condemn others with him. Ichiban on the otherhand portrayed unconditional love and forgiveness. No matter how often he got betrayed by folks as Sawashiro, Tomizawa, Chitose or Eiji, he would still forgive them, regardless if they would repay or deserve it. Best example for this was the elevator scene where Chitose asked him why he trust her and what would he do, if it would all be a set up. Ichiban could have said I would not forgive you again or never trust you again, but imstead he confidently charitably said that he will see without pronouncing a judgment. This unconditional forgiveness and love and his sacrifices where he doesn't care if he loses or not, make him an amazing character. Almost a biblical character or saint.
It reminds me of my best friend. We used to rule the world, but because of one stupid and very little argue, it’s been more than 1 year we haven’t spoke since. Wish I could talk to her again
@@sephirotten2413I have this feeling she doesn’t feel the same for me. That in her mind I don’t exist anymore. Or maybe we are too proud to take the first step and we’re waiting for each other eternally
My absolute favorite song in the series, and onenof my favorite songs in the history of video games. And right now, the song that makes me happiest to be a bass.
Wonder if there exists a full version of an english one, because that one's really good too Well, the whole Yakuza 7 english dub is really good, so hopefully exists the other full-version karaoke songs in English
"On those nights you're hurting or feeling lonely, come and have a drink with me." This was the last game I bought for my ps4 before I nearly lost everything and became homeless. I worked my ass off and whenever I was feeling down and needed to cheer up, I would boot up LAD 7 and just be in the survive bar, listening to the cds or doing karoke as my own little comfort zone and this particular song kept me going for a long while. Ichiban may not be the protagonist I grew up with like Kiryu but he will always have a place in my heart as the hero who saved me from me.
It's in both Like a Dragon Garden and Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, that's 14 and 18 years after the 10 Billion Yen Incident, Tonight even got an updated Cinematic then that makes it a montage of slow moving cutscenes probably to show that Kiryu cherishes and reminiscing about those memories more now that he's alone and later now that he's also dying of cancer.
