I just saw one of these in your new video for the drybag/air pump. I didn't know you did them. I am thinking one of these with the dry bag/pump is going to be perfect for my winter kayaking adventures with the Lomo tarp i have and hammock. Not much stowage in a kayak, so have to go small/lightweight on everything. I'm slowly but surely swapping things over to Lomo, love the quality, thanks guys.
It looks like a nice practical design and well made although for us we are looking for something smaller to go on the front of our kayak . its a bit bulky and the wind will grab it .We have touring kayaks so already have heaps of storage space More just want to store phone, gopro stuff, snacks, binoculars, sunscreen etc . stuff that we want to keep safe and get to quickly for day trips . If you made it in a smaller size I am sure that would open up another market for them
All the bags come with the same amount of straps. So handy for spares ...............or ............if you have more than one bike you have options. Just bought the 25 ltr today from hydepark street glasgow shop as a simple cheap extra weatherproof addition to my factory panniers for a bike run next weekend. Great addition for £22
I have this bag to carry camping equipment on my motorcycle. Its good but could be improved with some molle sections on the back so i dont have to squeeze the contents of the bag to secure it. And can access easier.
Just received this today and can confirm the quality and finish of this paddle is outstanding. Yes there’s a seam but I can already tell this won’t bother me whatsoever. Thanks guys .
So glad to find this informative video… there was a wealth of knowledge! 😊. The trans parent LOMO bags were these 3L or the larger 6L bags? Hilleberg makes great kit…. Trying to package my Staika (leaving with the two IKEA bags packed… is brilliant). I’m sorry if I missed it…. Are you carrying a paddle float? (What are your views on inflatable versus rigid foam?). Hope life is treating you well. 😊👍
I like to stuff contractor-grade trash bags into spaces that wedge metal items and keep them from banging around. The contractor bags also serve as places to put things that need a water resistant storage and backup storage for people on the trip who didn’t pack as well… This is SUCH a good video-the logic and demonstration together makes it superior. 😊
Not exactly it’s intended purpose but I ended up stuffing one of these full of old pillows and using it as a replacement seat on a quad bike. Its securely strapped on the bike where the old seat was and holds up well to mud and heavy riders. Also it’s waterproof so no problem when the bike gets jet washed after a ride. Only thing was that because its totally waterproof, when you sat on it, it kind of inflated and looked like it was going to burst from the air inside it. In the end I made a little hole in the underside where the straps are so that air can escape but mud and water can’t get in during a ride
Cheers, just took delivery of my first dry bag a Lomo 20 litre motorcycle one, thanks for info on closing it and how to use loops etc to attach to the bike 😊
In theory that might work but in practice you'll find it difficult to uniformly apply the tape with a home iron over the whole suit and differences in the amount of stretch between the tape and the suit would likely mean some of the tape would come off after a period of time. I wouldnt recommend it to be honest.
Niceee, would a standard laptop of 15.6 inches fit comfortably in the LOMO Adventure Pannier Medium bag? Stuart Fillingham's video of these bags on his Classic 500 had me convinced this is what I need, now I just need to nail the size for city run-abouts.
Hi There. The neoprene material on the back of the gloves is waterproof but the gloves are not designed to keep water out. You hands will get wet using these gloves.
