The Richmond Rovers Rugby League & Sports Club is an Auckland Rugby League club based in the inner Auckland city suburb of Grey Lynn. Richmond is a family orientated club administered by dedicated volunteers and enjoyed by its community and greater Auckland community. The Richmond club has over 400 junior grade players, over 300 senior grade players and over 200 social club members.
Richmond is a rich in tradition rugby league club that had reached a milestone in 2013 when it celebrated its 100 Centennial year. Since its humble beginnings the Richmond Rovers Club has been and become home to many families from the greater Auckland community. Grey Lynn park is home to many of its club members, guests and is widely respected for its reputation, respect both on and off the playing field and its community involvement.

I was in the same class as Afi at Mt. Albert in the 70's - his brother Fred was head boy at the time and brilliant at all sports. Afi was a great lad and always seemed to come top in exams. Really fond memories of him.
how good was that brought back quite a few memories.I played for the Mangere East Hawks in the 70's. BTW is there any footage of the Kiwis win against the Aussies 1971. I tink the score was 24-3
