Hi! I'm Back Door Productions. This is a fan channel dedicated to the sketch comedy/movie production/whatever-they're doing-right-now group Door Monster! If you're a fellow DM fan, you're in the right place.
I originally created this channel for the purpose of organizing some clips from the old Door Monster Twitch Channel, then run by Joey Basham, into semi-digestible videos for Door Monster fans. At the time it was called "The Mostly Joey Show."
Since then, the channel has shifted into compilation videos, mostly from Door Monster's streams and podcasts (especially Kyle and Allison's "Okay, We're Up" streams), and occasionally their main channel videos. If you have an idea for a compilation, please recommend it in the comments of a video - I check them all!
This channel is not monetized, and intends never to be, unless that money flows straight to Kyle Sullivan and the rest of the DM crew.
I’ve been wondering for the last two episodes who that was at Templin and then realized: “oh yeah, that’s Marc. Of course he would be doing a silly voice.”
As always, corrections: 1. Yes Kyle was in one of the Natural 1 sketches (more if you include the sponsored segments of those videos) - but Matt Locke wasn't in that one. 2. There's only one character Kyle doesn't voice in Captain Spectacular.
I also like Home Inversion more than Houbeau Nouveau. "In my experience, people don't give up that information without some kind of encouragement" is my favorite line from it
Was this your favourite podcast to record because you got to talk about Doormonster uninterrupted for several minutes Back Door? (; obviously, partially, in jest, it is actually genuinely fun to hear you go in depth on your deep Doormonster Lore Knowledge
After 9 questions my guess rn is that it's the hobo sketch where the hobo lost Lebron and has been stalking some other guy for a few years. basing that on technically 3 actors with the cop being the third, and that of the main cast Kyle and Not Jeffery are in it. Just leaving this here to see if I am right EDIT: Damn, I was wrong, aI also forgot that Ian was the cop and just recalled after you didn't mention it as an option and realised why
You got it in one! One Jon Dollar for you! *Note: Jon dollar only redeemable at select podcast locations. May require approval of Jon and/or whichever DM member can force Jon to say something. For inquires, please contact Finchley Central.
Only once correction this time! Raised by Video Games was actually Allison’s 5th sketch, and 2nd non-straight-man character (her first was the neurotic douchebag raider from Rimworld: Crash Landing).
Welcome to “Back Door Being Wrong About Things.” Gonna correct myself here before anyone else calls me out on it: 1. While the Air Soft reading was on the main channel, it took place about a year after Skyvault streams were over. It was also a Black Pants Film School episode, which I should have remembered. 2. White Noise Live is on DM Podcasts (duh). 3. Every episode of BirB% except the last one is available on Ding Dong Ditch (although I believe there were other nuzlockes which were not saved at all) and 4. Neither “Straight Man” nor “Engy and Spy” are on a Door Monster album, which frankly makes me sad.
Well that was absolutely delightful. Thanks to both of you, and great job to Back Door, your voice is perfect for this! We'll try to get a Persona stream going this week.
Being the only one who knows what is happening and being the go to FAQ is easily my favorite part of these streams. It is fascinating to see these two try and process the weirdness that this game can be.
Also first time I watched this I was tabbed out working on something else. That was a M I S T A K E. I kept jolting back to the video because I thought I broke something lol.
