In the example, you said hot fluid is temp from 100 to 90 so 10degree. But how come the cold body is going from 30 to 50?? If hot body is leaving 10degree then cold body should only gain 10degress
sir shut off pressure is density x acceleration due to gravity x height = density is kg/m3 x 9.81 m/sec2 x height in meters how we will get in kg/m2........
If flashing CANNOT be eliminated, do we then design all flow systems for 2-phase flow? Also, when you say that flashing CANNOT be eliminated, do you mean that it can't be PREVENTED?
See if in any system/pipeline flashing shouldn't be there....but due to some reason it occurs so it cannot be eliminated untill it's human error! For two design flow design yes if you know you're system will experience the flashing then must be design with two phase flow

I'm not interested much in the other fields. I really like chemistry, however, so here we are. I've always been interested in knowing how and why things work and furthermore apply knowledge to find the most optimal way to do something. From what I know about Chem E it kinda has that mindset
Does cavitation occur in the Glycol Recirculation pump ( reciprocating pump) if the Glycol is badly contaminated with Hydrocarbon Condensate and dissolved gas?
