Dear sir, I'm torn in between honda nx500 and re himalayan 450, how do u find the nx with the offroads? I'm worried about the ground clearance 7.1inches and it's the only thing that bothers me, the himalayan 450 on the otherhand has 9 inches which is better offroad but the engine is newly engineered unlike the years of quality from twin engine 500 from honda.
If u are looking to do proper off road, then himi is the right pick. Engine is new, but not bad. It's a single so expect vibes and character. Suspension is awesome on the himi. When I took the NX to Ladakh I enjoyed it, but it cant go head on with the himi when it comes to no roads. NX is a long-term bike. Whereas Himi u can abuse for a couple of years and change to the new kid on the block. But my question is how often do you go off road. If it's once every 2 to 3 months then NX is better. It's a keeper.
Which bike would you recommend for family (pillion comfort) as per your experience Honda hiness 350 or Triumph Speed 400 ? Or any other brand would suggest?
Honda has tall gearing, it is meant for easy cruising and easy city riding. Where has speed 400 mimics the KTMs. Speed 400 is good, but the seat is smaller compared to Honda Hness. Smoother engine on the Honda. Since you asked for family I suggested Honda. If you are travelling alone for more than 60 percent of the time, then go for Speed 400
It is not a VFM bike, but its a perfect bike for Indian roads. With a highway mileage of 30 and service cost of 5k every year, this is definitely a pick for me.
If a person had to ride 80 to 90 km per day. 30k in a year. Is it ok to purchase cb300f for daily commuting. Maitain cost kitna ayega. Should a person go for a big bike.
