Welcome, If you are the sort of person that enjoys the art of cinematography, loves nature and seeks to be inspired by the spectacular accomplishments and paths that humans proof to be possible, this is addressed to the rare and special kind, you. I enjoy flying drones in extreme conditions. My background is composing (film) music, playing several instruments in bands, orchestras and big bands through a broad variety of genres. Starting at a young age, I have been doing multiple sports - in competition and for fun - mainly on water, snow or other vehicles that move. Epic nature, film, music, sports and exciting stories have always amazed me. I don't define myself by anything that I do. My speciality is creating, learning, and teaching. I do my best to push the boundaries for you.

Looking to start in filming windsurfers at my local area. The fpv looks great but feels a bit more difficult than using a DJI product. I see you have recommendations for both fpv and more traditional drone cameras, but do you have a preference? Is one better for the sport than another, or are they both good in different ways? Obviously flying over water with fpv is not something I will be doing right away.
Great that you want to start, enjoy it! You got it pretty right, I use the different drones for their specific purpose. In the end, anything needs practice😎
Very, very cool. Awesome flying and footage. And ... I imagine/understand that these FPV drones are ridiculously fast and capable (except in battery life?). So I suspect chasing a windsurfer around in wide open "terrain" might be somewhat .."boring" for the pilot (?). But...the output is incredible. Thanks for producing/sharing all these....and adding in the sound editing (a whole other level of work!) 👏🌤️
Awesome feedback, thank you! You’re right with everything, apart from the part of it being boring to chase a windsurfer in the wide open😎. It’s super fun and always a bit scary regarding battery life😅
@@johannes_herteloh that's good news - for us viewers! (That it's not boring for you, the pilot 🙃). I'm sure I'd be sweating bullets ... way out there... in the salty air... AND (especially!!!) when these guys start jumping and splashing!!! 😬. Anyway, thanks again (I truly, I know how much work the sound editing alone has got to be!). We'll all continue to look forward to more - whenever they come around 🙏🏼🌤️🍻 ~
Very well done! I could feel the wind, the spray, and the adrenaline. What was the average wind velocity in this location and time? Fortunate for the swimmer that it was on shore wind!
fpv proximity piloting and top fuel fin blasting on peak performance level - and still getting closer, faster, better - epic! thanks for sharing, keep it up, can‘t get enough of that stuff🔥🔥🔥🤙🏼
The spot called Back Yards on Oahu Hawaii's north shore in the 80's was the center of the universe for windsurfing. Robbie Nash and his friends were doing huge forward and back flips over giant waves. There were guys pulling in to double mast high waves and making it out. Lots of broken gear like masts and people getting flushed onto the shallow inside reef. I got to see much of it while surfing BackYards and Sunset Beach. We called all of the guys jumping so high there the "Yard Birds".
The drone/video footage looks very professional! Great job to both the windsurfer and the drone operator!! Excellent skills! Hopefully there will be more videos in the future! 👍👍🤙🤙
