It is interesting how each person explains where the bartholin gland is and no one ever mentioned that it can also be a bit below the labia altogether, like mine is, about 2 cm above perineal area. I see photos and videos all explaining that when the cyst grows its in the labia. The cyst I had was about a golf bawl so close to my anus I thought it was an anal abscess. I ran to colon doctor just so she could send me to a gyno bc it was a bartholin cyst/abscess deep in my body.

Hello, a question, in some slides can both pulmonary anthracosis and emphysema be identified, or in that case would it only be eccentric ascinar emphysema? 😿My question is very stupid, but I am new to pathology 😿
Anthracosis (as a descriptive term used by histopathologists) is an accumulation of black pigment in the lungs as a result of environmental exposure to carbon containing dust. Emphysema (as a descriptive term used by histopathologists) is an abnormal enlargement of air spaces characterized by destruction of the alveolar septa with little or no fibrosis. Both features can be present in one slide.
Thank you for your work! I’m a medical student and our pathology anatomy department share this video to us 😅 I’m from Kazakhstan that Kazakhstan’s students watch your video 👋🏻
