I see this was posted in October, was your travel also in October or earlier? I am trying to plan a good month to visit and it looked like the temperatures were very comfortable.
Thank you for your inquiry. I believe it was in August actually. It would have been late August. It was very comfortable. Plus other parts of Italy were comfortable as well. The elevation is really high so I could see October being quite cold. Thanks for watching and the comment!
We honestly cannot remember! They all were great. But we filmed everything super thoroughly, so you will be able to come to a pretty good judgement of that based on the footage. Thanks for watching and the comment!
Hello! We did not rent a car. We picked a central location and just used the bus to get around (if needed). All of the gondolas were in walking distance of the town we stayed in. It’s been several years, I’d honestly have to watch the videos myself to answer fully. The minute details are in the videos. Thanks for watching!
My grandparents were also from Grumo. We still have cousins there. My mother was keeping in touch with them. My wife and I are thinking of stopping there for a night or two.
It’s a cute little town. I don’t think they get many tourists, so we caused quite a spectacle for them walking around with all our luggage. A police officer came up to us and started chatting with us for a while. Thanks for watching, and we hope that you too will be able to visit where your grandparents are from!
I have been there several times in the past. I know the last big falls as Cold Springs. During monsoon season you must be careful. People have died there cause they got washed away.
I prefer getting there by hiking the flume trail. And on the return trip just bushwack down stream the whole way. That way you see all the parts of the creek no one visits.
3 hikers have died at this trail this year. What are they doing wrong? Can you land a wrong foot and fall down hundreds of feet? It didn’t look like that from your video
That’s terrible to hear. My guess is that they passed not while hiking, but by being too close to a cliff edge. It’s definitely not outside of the realm of possibility, especially if you’re standing next to the edge taking a picture or something. Lots of high cliffs on this hike. Thanks for watching!
Sorry for the late reply! While there are certainly places that are shallow, some places are deep. We suggest taking some goggles as the water is crystal clear. Thanks for watching!
I'll be in Sedona in June and this video helped me decide which hike I wanna do next. Gotta love those Sedona colors - red rocks, green vegetation and clear blue skies. Keeps me comin' back every summer.
Glad we could be of service! Sedona is absolutely breathtaking. Can’t go wrong with any Sedona hike but our ultimate favorite was Bear Mountain. We have a video on it if you wanna check it out. Epic views. Hope you have a great trip!
We’ve been going there since the early 80s. There used to be a dam that diverted half the creek to a sluiceway than ran down stream. It operated Child’s power plant. They have since removed all that and restored the creek. It’s a beautiful place. It’s especially beautiful in the winter because the water temperature causes a crazy fog over the creek. A few miles north is Hanging Gardens at West Clear Creek, another beautiful spring fed stream.
Thank you for watching and the comment. We absolutely loved this place. Top 5 hikes in Arizona for us. It’s sad to hear about the wild fires that happened since filming this. Hopefully it’ll recover soon. Thanks again.
@@TravelingGlossers Curious what your other four are of your top five! My sons and I are looking forward to a backpacking adventure to West Fork soon, another personal favorite. It can be done as an easy day hike as well, relatively level and easily accessible. But we’ve found the real beauty is a bit farther up the canyon. Thank you for sharing!
Hi there! Nice video! Were the lifts paid? Did they have any safeguards or seatbelts? Considering the lifts, how much time did you spent from Col Raiser gondola to the top of Seceda and how much time to go back to Col Raiser?
Thank you! Glad you liked it! You do have to pay. I can’t remember the exact price but they were all about the same and I know we mentioned price in the video. The maximum amount of time we spent in a gondola the whole trip was 5 minutes probably. So not long at all.
Regarding Seceda, as you’ll see in the video, we had to take a gondola and a chair lift. Probably no more than 5 minutes each. But you had to walk from the gondola to the chair lift - about 0.5 miles
Your content is just fantastic and the video editing is perfect, but the main reason the video goes viral is video SEO and Organic Promotion of your video's targeted audience. Your SEO score is Low. Your video needs to be on-page SEO and Off-page SEO. If you want then I can give you some free tips and tricks to rank your videos and get maximum views. Thank You
Hey Guys! So nice to meet fellow RU-vidrs/explorers! We are heading out to the Phoenix area soon (from WI) for the winter... This trail looks absolutely amazing - thanks for sharing!! 💙Terry and Terri
Beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!! I have a nephew and his wife who are enjoying this town on Oct 19, 2023 !!!!!!!!!!! They've already sent many pics of their travels to this continant. !!!!!!!!! I'm too out-of-shape to enjoy trips like these - maybe my wife and kids will head over there soon !!!!!!!!!!! Keep up with this channel !!!!!!!!! Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the video! We made videos on all the other towns of Cinque Terre too if you didn’t see already. Corniglia is by far the hardest to access, but the others aren’t so bad. Thanks again and hope that you too can experience this place one day!
Thank you for watching! Glad you liked it! We mentioned the price in the video, I believe. And this one would definitely be the favorite! Thanks again!
Haha those aren’t your average sandals - they’re Chaco’s. Great for hiking. However, we have hiked this long in sandals before! Thanks for watching! Glad you liked it.
@@TravelingGlossers I'll have to look into Chaco's. I need new sandals, and they must be comfy if they can be used for hiking for miles. Thanks! Yes, the video is great. I enjoyed it very much.
Manarola is probably the best town to stay in if we had to choose as it’s central in Cinque Terre. Sounds like you’re planning a trip - have fun! Cinque Terre is an unforgettable place! Thanks for watching!
It’s been a couple years since we filmed this, but we did need a permit. Hope you still got to enjoy this place! A lot of places nowadays do require permits, FYI. Thanks for watching!
