I used energy booster creatures for a while, but just not enough of them. I just stumbled into the extra monsters when I decided to just go old skool with my tactics!
Gotta be careful having a 3 mod deck but not having all 3 in hand lol might spend your cards too quickly to see it's a mod, happens to the best of us. In area 2 I think you could have gotten away with an overkill attempt on tyrone. You had just enough time where you might have landed it before your time on birken ran out and if you grab tyrone it would have put the pressure on Jill to save tyrone or risk losing 30 seconds and having to do terminals herself. Nice area 3, if you have the energy to spam with ambush and you keep spawning next to survivors they have no choice but to give up lots of ground or risk getting grabbed. Once they start taking damage the game can really snowball like it did here with every creature having bioleech.
Wow now that was a much different match. I like the changes, but you gotta lose the creature booster, especially in this 3 mod deck. You're just taking a hit to your energy every time you play that card for no benefit at all. That damage was nice. It makes me think tracker mine would be a good fit in here, at least instead of the booster. Overall though much better with discount, you were able to card cycle easier and get more creatures down which is pivotal with ambush. Amazing zombie placement and timing can make sure you get damage and therfore energy to keep playing cards but it's much easier to get value with ambush if they have lots of targets incoming that are all invincible so the spam discount provides gives you more of that end game feeling in earlier points in the match
and it gets even crazier when the emergency exit is tripped by the survivors! talk about continuous kitchen sinks being tossed with more monsters and all of them invincible for those 2 seconds going after survivors the match before in the end shown how crazy fast monsters can be produced but with the right build a river of monsters will flow!🌊
Good point, in truth ambush Annette might be the very best at making a huge comeback at that stage of the game, as long as your camera doesn't get shot out. I actually don't mind the 3 mods you have, but I think it's worth noting that 2 free card slots can actually help you play more skill cards faster and with more precision. I do my best not to mindlessly spam to avoid accidentally doing something stupid with my cards and when I only have 1 free slot that I'm cycling on exclusively then I have to wait for the card cycle animation to complete before I can make the best use of the card I get. It's a minor slow down for me but it's one that I consider.
Ha 8 minutes huh? Can't wait to see your changes. I was going to say 2 mods ought to be enough for your ambush strategy. Having the 2 card slots available is nice and gives you room to keep any large gen mods you may get. I'd also recommend maybe losing regen spray. Ambush creatures don't need defense or hp as much. The main thing is the leech and maybe infection and berserk, any more sprays can clog your cycle.
I think that creature booster is doing more harm than good in your build. At best with a 2 mod deck it can pay for itself by discounting your one other free card slot by 2, that is if the creature card in question has the capacity to be discounted by 2. If you happen to get a large gen mod then creature booster is just a solid 2 energy lost every time, but generally most times in that match it was a loss of 2 energy anyway when say you had a spray and the booster in hand or just no creature to benefit in general. Deception and decoy trap come to mind for better cycling options, or even tracker mine for more damage. The 1st two things are good for not giving time back, although any mine can still be turned into a Martin mine, but with an ambush build it shouldn't be as big of a deal. Actually for the same price discount would get a lot more value than creature booster. More spam more sprays. I also believe that the bigger tank is all you need. 16 energy cap is pretty decent, and the extra slot for some other equipment can round you out or pile onto a particular strength you want like extra damage. My general thoughts are that if I'm not benefitting from the extra energy space, then it is wasted equipment. The only time you'll get above 16 energy most times is if you get a really good ambush bite chain going and by that time you don't really need the extra 4 energy.
thanks for the suggestions I am going to see what works... BTW getting rid of 1 bio tank is good and sometimes 3 mods can make the difference also when boosting up bio energy without relying on the energy leech mod and including miniature reactor. I may be on to something.. beta testing today will upload later check it out!

Get it! It's sort of like duel monster card games (when you're the mastermind) without the rpg! If you like the resident evil survivor energy you will like that as well. The more you play the more you build your survivors up! monsters don't level up but (but masterminds get limited builds, not much but stuff opens up when you level up to a certain point!) Once you understand the builds you will have fun! check it out!
