These are underrated cars and I have owned one a while back, but I don't know where you get these figures, they are not 150kw from the factory, they aren't even 150hp, it's 100kw or 140hp. There was a higher power GTi 180/RC version available which was 130kw, basically same engine as in the Clio Sport of the time. Also these do not do 0-60mph in 6.5 seconds, if you can get it under 8 seconds you are doing well. They have a good spread of engine torque though, so it's easy to drive it quickly but in a more relaxed way compared to something like Corolla Sportivo where you really need to redline it every gear to get it moving quickly.
My friend has one of these just stage 1 and its plenty fast enough. Only complaints on the car is the seats are kind of loose fitting for me at least and thing always wants to go sideways.
Jake, I own one of these: 1) The seats are loose fitting because you didn’t adjust the side bolsters. The side bolsters are electronically adjustable therefore hugging you more. 2) The car goes sideways because his tires are probably too skinny. I have a Stage 2 and don’t go sideways. I run 305/30/19 on rears and 265/30/19 in the front.
Awesome car man, but while you are recording in the car, the voices are not really clear, might wanna go for a cover on the mic to have that clarity in line. Keep it up!
