Cillian is full of 💩 here, what do these young girls know about the world? They've been nowhere done nothing. If you think your opinions are better than most people's you should get yourself to a position where people will listen to you. No person in their right mind will change their mind because of what a teenage girl said.

Its something I've noticed quite a bit growing up. I'm nearly 30 and i find a lot of younger generations really don't have a lot of empathy and they don't seem to realise that what you do to others, you do to yourself...The church wont teach you that, schools wont teach you that. When we realise we don't know how someone else is feeling, then how can we be unkind to them?. I mean, you don't have to be an angel, if someone insults you, you can insult them back, we have a negative side too, but true strength is the non expression of negative emotion, not repression, but just avoiding this mechanical way we explode at the smallest things, that is a weakness.
I like what Cillian said about not talking down to children (teenagers). Children are very intelligent and us adults can learn from them. Just because you are grown that does not mean you know everything. Sometimes children can be smarter than adults and he is right they are the next generation who will be governing us and making fair laws for people to abide by. Adults should always listen to children especially their own. Kids are not stupid. I really like what Cillian said he sounds very intelligent. God bless you all🙏
Yeah I was never spoken down to as a child was spoken to as an intelligent person as I was one. People said oh look at her vocabulary that's cute when I was 3 but it's just my parents were not stupid so they used big words and I understood.

Yes the best approach. As a youth pastor I always wanted kids to have a sense of ownership of the ministries. That's how we raise up leaders. Even the littles had real contributions to make to the worship and community life of the church. I love his acknowledgement that these youth will soon govern us. And when I talk with youth they break down my cynicism and give me hope for the future. I think the world will be in much better hands once we old farts pass the torch. And I beg their forgiveness for our bungling.
