A person stole cheque leaves from my firm cheque book and gave cheque to other firm by duplicating my signature. Thankfully, the cheque was returned by bank due to signature difference. But the firm owner has filed police complaint against me and the person who gave him cheques. I have complained for my stolen cheques. Please guide me what steps should I take.
