Welcome to My Watch channel, motivated by love and passion towards watches and hobby itself. Subtle review and presentation of various brands and watch models. Short brand history, important specs and round view of timepieces, thoughts from the perspective of average watch enthusiast and collector. As said this, channel is devoted to timepieces, and if it progresses the sole purpose of it will be to get more watches and do reviews and videos of them.
IMHO one if not THE best re-issue Seiko has ever done. I have owned a Triple-7 Turtle for a few years now, and it's certainly a keeper! I wear mine on a CNS ribbed G10 strap. Great video. Keep up the good work!
Thank you... I do have this one for some time, and it sayed with me over the years, now it has a sentimental value also, because of my sons birth. I think that for the watch of this size to be comfortable on any bracelet ot strap is just amasing.
@@RangeMaster1050 nicely said, I have nothing to add. You can find these in different variations from 350 eur and up. But it is on the maeket for a while and I imagine there are sales as well with more affordable prices.
I have two Planet Oceans in my collection: a black 42mm three hand version from 2008 and an orange chrongraph from 2009. On my 16.5cm wrist the smaller one of course fits very well but since my wrist is more flat and wide rather than round the chrono also wears decently. Last year I added the orange rubber strap with the deployant clasp and it feels like a new watch. Not only does it now appear almost completely in orange but it is also much lighter and keeps its position on my wrist much better.
I agree, it is more complete with orange band, and rubber for the 45mm is much comfortable, as it is a heavy watch... 42mm one is much more versatile for any wrist.
Nato band with the stripes is aftermarket, just to show how the other strap can change perspective of the watch. And this one is a legit strap monster. Later on in the video you can see the original one, tan one, with strap reference number and other info... You can check it out. ;D
I have the original model and while I do love the more polished look of the new model, I absolutely HATE ghost dates. To me, they are the second most lame thing on a watch after fake subdials. If Bulova put the date window back, this would be a near-perfect watch and it's stupid that they took it out because the complication is still there, you just can't see it. That's why I hate ghost dates.
Bulova is headquartered in New York- however it is owned by Citizen, and has its watches manufactured in Japan, Switzerland, and Hong Kong. This one, I could only assume...
Thank you... I hope more watches will come and leave my collection, since thats the only way to share videos, opinions of more brands and models... And enjoy them as well... 🙂 Will be posting further on... Best regards...
The 37 mm version is the most complete of the all, better clasp with plenty of micro adjustment and perfect symmetry of the dial with date window at 6clock. really underrated watch IMHO
I agree, its better looking with date window at 6, and fonder of micro adjustment clasp as well. Can’t tell why they did not throw out the 3 hour marker in full, leaving the half of number like that. Also I think that the bigger date window on 42 would be better...
Wicked about time Swatch uses an automatic movement. Given it doesn’t hack but it’s a move in the right direction. Besides the ex co-ceo said the he would never put a Quartz movement on any Blanpain watch. I’m not much on those colors. I’m more like a nice ceramic black and dark gray. I can go without the date. But the 51 movement comes with a date calendar. Only 2 of the Blanpain Swatches come with ghost position. Those 2 if I’m correct have the moisture detection window above the six position. I’ll wait for the black one to come out. Enjoy to all who have purchased them. They are way better than the MoonSwatch my opinion. I had the Mercury version,I used it for a while and the I lost the fascination with it so I sold. Enjoy to all.
Well, Sistem51 is around for some 10 years now. Id say the movement is solid for this kind of watch type. I agree that it is much better than quartz movement therefore BP keeping the word. It probably was one of the conditions, or maybe elaborated years ago also with moonswatch as well. It is novelty and trinket, and will be enjoyed by the masses... 😉 And swatch also 💴💵💶
I bought my Tudor BB GMT 2 and a half years ago and I'm delighted with this watch. Everything works perfectly and for sure than I'm going to keep it forever, I love it Congratulations with your purchase end enjoy it. Many thanks for the video.
I sold mine. Loved it at first, but over time, the weight and thickness became annoying. Maybe if it had T-fit I wouldn’t have minded as much. I have the new BB41 Champagne now, with the Jubilee, Tfit and curvy slimmer case it’s more my thing.
