Sue and Chris travel the country looking for adventures. Serendipity is our 14' 2015 Jayco 145RB Trailer. It's a great size for us to find unexpected things of awe and beauty. We just purchased a 2023 RAM Promaster which we are going to convert. We named it Synchronicity.
We also have an 1833 Greek Revival Farm House that we restored. It keeps us busy when we are not traveling. We love learning new things!
Sue Loves plants and gardens. Chris loves to tinker with electronics and his 3D Scanners/Printers/Lasers.

If you used a USB 2 Type C cable instead of USB 3 type C, I bet it would charge a lot more slowly, because USB 2 didn't support nearly as much power as USB 3.
I wish it had 4 wheels instead, however I could place it in my cart/wagon. If I were in an emergency situation then I would place the cooler underground and insulate it so it could use the 54F ground temperature to extend the batteries.
I've always used a hammer slide puller to remove the hub assemblies. The chain parts stores usually have them as free loaners and they work great for it.
amazing skills & details thanks ! always wanted to get a variable charger to charge 80% ... also wanted to monitor pack voltage , thanks for the 5v idea
I believe Bosch has encrypted CAN bus commands that they use between the battery and the motor. I would love to figure out commands to discharge it.... but haven't yet. I did notice a new battery company on kickstarter that said they have

Has anyone made this work for the cordless tools? Would love to have the option to plug-in and maybe charge batteries at the same time on the job site!
Thank you! You solved my problem before I even knew I had it. Same issue with the green and red light on a full battery. Just about to go camping and that would have totally bamboozled me. Appreciate the help!
Great Video!! I have the same wood splitter (12 years old) that had the same problem using the same engine. After watching your video I put in a Bilt Hard 173cc from Amazon for $159. The installation went a lot smoother after watching your descriptive video. The Bilt Hard is quieter and a lot more fuel efficient then the original Briggs & Stratton. I'm splitting up a storm now and getting ready for winter. Thanks again!
The problem with using them to charge your phone, they get hot. Sure they are useful in a pinch but there are better and safer ways to charge your other devices. I am going to try their 18V USB connector to charge our devices with their new ones that run cooler, just like what you are doing as your test source. Yeah nice you can charge 3 at a time for these smaller 4v batteries. With the 2 amp/h I get about 80% charge on my iPhone 15. Ryobi posts misleading stats on things, for example their 1800 Watt power station is only 1600 Watts but cam run 1800 Watts for up to 3 minutes. I wish they were more forthcoming with their stats.
cool idea for the fresh air vent! if you were to add that fresh air vent to say the right or left side of the green house, would it open up as well or no because it has to be on the opposite side of the shutter exhaust fan how you placed yours?
I saw a part solar shroud planner trailer that was fixed except it popped up for sleeping. He had a small solar air foil panel on front and said it was worth while.
GREAT videos Chris! You rock :-) Can I use the MC4 connectors on the Ryobi charging cable vs XT60 so i can avoid soldering and just use a crimp tool for 10g wire? It seems like the wire for ryobi charging unit will be very small - i hope mc4 will work
Awesome! Just wiring up my Bosch charger plug to my solar stuff now. Can you tell me more about how you wired the 5v line? I assume the positive 5v goes to the third Bosch wire but what about the negative 5v line? Thanks!
