To all yall complaining in the comments name another place you can walk into with pokemon cards and walk out with $1000 gamestop is the only chain out here doing this
Will this be similar to yugioh duel links? Where games are simple and old cards are released first etc? Idk much and the pokemon tcg but I'm excited to try it.
The ironic thing is, is that these companies have created artificial value around the "grade" of cards which are clearly inherentky inconsistent and arbitrary. People buy PSA 10s because they feel more valuable, theres nothing different if you need a literal microscope to go and find things "wrong" with the card, the idea that the card out of the pack, completely untouched would come anything other than a "10" is stupid
Boy do they have tou brainwashed. Psa got you spouting woodies ove what is the equivalent of a 9 grade. PRISTINE is what used to be the 10s. Now 10s being tossed out like candy. How long until the flood of 10s causes the reputation of psa to tank?
I'm from New Zealand and downloaded and played it today, pulled the Charmander which was cool, the arts are AMAZING and it's pretty good as an app. It doesn't give the same vibe as pulling a physical chase card but that's probably half the point, it makes you want to open physical product. If even half of the artworks from "Genetic Apex" dropped IRL, people would go nuts and most if not all of the Illustrators of the cards are names I've read before at Pokémon so there's no reason they couldn't. I can't tell how they're gonna use it in conjunction with physical product, whether or not we'll see these cards IRL, but they're about to make another bill fo sho. 🔥
